I trusted that if the FDA approved a drug, it had to be safe. FDA-approved does not mean safe.

Today @USDA @SecRollins and I secured a major win for animal welfare. Ridglan Farms will transfer its remaining 475 beagles out of a research breeding facility and into the care of a no-kill rescue, where they can begin the path to adoption. Thank you, @LaraLeaTrump, for championing this issue. We are also launching a new @NIH office, ORIVA, to speed the transition away from animal testing and toward modern, human-based science. We will keep fighting for humane treatment of animals, better science, and accountability.

With over 20,000 beagles, the last remaining mass breeding facility for beagles used in inhumane animal experiments is Marshall Farms in New York. SHUT. IT. DOWN. @USDA @HHSGov @SecKennedy @SecRollins @LaraLeaTrump @NickLangworthy @beaglefreedom @WhiteCoatWaste @peta @humaneactfund

I believe we therapists may witness withdrawal more than psychiatrists, as most rarely take people off long-term drugs. We therapists, on the other hand, regularly see people withdraw as therapy works & so often have an intimate understanding of what withdrawal looks like.

💗What a beautiful moment! #Ridglan is finally shuttering, the hundreds of remaining beagles to be set free! ❤️‍🔥Never doubt the power of direct action and activism.

Bush signed Civil Rights Act expanding discrimination remedies. • 1996: Republican Congress passed welfare reform with work requirements and time limits. • 1990s-present: Republican leaders advanced school choice and charter school programs. • 2001: President George W. Bush signed No Child Left Behind to close achievement gaps. • 2017: President Trump signed Tax Cuts and Jobs Act creating Opportunity Zones. • 2018: President Trump signed First Step Act for criminal justice and sentencing reform. • 2023: Supreme Court struck down race-conscious college admissions, ruling against affirmative action policies at Harvard and UNC. • 2025: President Trump signed an executive order ending DEI programs, mandates, preferences, and offices across the federal government. • 2025–2026: Reestablished and expanded the White House Initiative on Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) focused on excellence, innovation, research competitiveness, and additional grant funding/support. • 2025–2026: Continued and promoted Opportunity Zones investments aimed at economically distressed communities. • 2025–2026: Further implementation and follow-on efforts on criminal justice reform (building on First Step Act).

I have written many thousands of words about this. Obviously, psychotropic drugs act on the nervous system outside the brain. @valsamadhavaMD has developed a good understanding of this. Also suggest consulting dyautonomia expert @dysclinic

Very few states and individual jurisdictions require LEOs to have law enforcement dog encounters training, and my local obedience club has advocated for it and offered it in my area, but overall the training LEOs have to deal with companion dogs is grossly inadequate

What fresh hell is he taking about? Tell students what to think instead of how to think. That violates a plethora of levels and is sooooo Orwellian. No wonder so many newly minted graduates are incapable of critical thinking. We be so screwed.

Wait till you hear the extent of harms and deaths caused by opioid "de-prescribing." I am in contact with one man who has the genetic issues that make him an "ultra-rapid metabolizer" requiring high-dose pain meds to be able to function. He was cut off and lost his job, and was given ECT as part of his "new" treatment plan that wrecked his cognition. No government agency has yet acknowledged, assessed, or tabulated the numbers of patient harms and deaths from "de-prescribing," a program based on pure lies coming out of the health agencies and their Advisory Committees. We suspect that tens, maybe hundreds of thousands of pain patients have DIED as a direct result. drive.google.com/file/d/1YU3… drive.google.com/file/d/1Cpc… drive.google.com/file/d/1O7Z… substack.com/@daveys35/note/…

As a former LEO myself, I've had animals run at me much more lethal than this one, and never was my first response to shoot the animal. I feel horrible for the dogs owner(s) and feel for them as I'm a dog owner myself and couldn't imagine being without my dog. I'm so sorry! 😢🙏

LAPD was responding to a call to an apartment for a welfare check of a woman screaming. Turns out the woman was just celebrating the Knicks game, when she opened the door for them, the dog ran out between her legs to greet them and they shot him on sight.
