We are pleased to welcome Alhaji Aliko Dangote and his company back to Ogun State, as he reaffirmed his confidence in our administration’s vision and investor-friendly policies. During his visit, Dangote highlighted that his decision to return and invest in the state was driven by our deliberate efforts to create a conducive environment for businesses to thrive. After years of setbacks, the Itori cement plant is being reconstructed, marking a significant step in Ogun’s industrial growth. With two new production lines capable of producing 6 million metric tons per annum, and the existing 12 million metric tons per annum cement plant at Ibeshe, Ogun State will soon be the largest cement-producing hub in Sub-Saharan Africa, strengthening Nigeria’s self-sufficiency in cement production. Additionally, @DangoteGroup is set to revive the Olokola Free Trade Zone (OKFTZ) with plans to develop Nigeria’s largest port, a project that will significantly boost trade, logistics, and economic activities in the region. We appreciate Dangote’s commitment to Ogun State’s industrial and economic transformation, as well as his company’s Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, including the construction of the Interchange-Papalanto-Ilaro Road. As a government, we remain committed to fostering sustainable economic growth, infrastructure development, and strategic partnerships to position Ogun as Nigeria’s leading investment destination. #BuildingOurFutureTogether #OgunIndustrialHub #DangoteInOgun #InvestInOgun #EconomicGrowth #InfrastructureDevelopment #OgunState
