How do *you* measure the performance of your accessibility program if you and your team are advisors who aren't responsible for the outcome? #a11y#KPI#measure
l’m very excited to moderate this #GAAD2021 panel for @DisabilityIN with @ClaudiaLGordon@AccessForAll@Shilpi_Kapoor. Together we have 98 years of digital accessibility experience! Free, open to the public. And not until May 25 so you can keep the #GAAD energy going! #a11y
Check out the slides from my #axecon session, at noti.st/accessforall (Yes, Virginia, PMs Are Responsible for Accessibility). They have a bit more info than the version I submitted earlier for the conference. Thanks for coming out!
The first thing I ever won off the radio was a pair of tickets to a Van Halen concert. When I say that as a teen I lived for Van Halen, it’s like saying I breathe oxygen. And I had hopeful days because of Johnny Nash. RIP, Eddie and Johnny. #heartbroken
What's there to do on a Friday afternoon? Come hear me talk about PMs and accessibility at the virtual Reflections | Projections Conference, today at 4PM Pacific/6PM Central. events.reflectionsprojection…#a11y#PMinAccessibility
I'm saddened to hear about @AccessibleJoe's passing. Every day, many of us enjoy his contributions to accessibility. I'll miss his passion and dedication, not to mention his wit and wisdom. He inspired me--even with his accessible death proposal. #RIPaccessiblejoe.com/accessible…
I'm reeling over Jim Thatcher's passing. He was a great source of knowledge and encouragement in the early days of my accessibility work. Even after a few projects w/him, I was still his fan girl—that never wore off. Nor did his kindness and humble spirit. RIP, Gentle Warrior.
Great info here. I'm not a fan of placeholders (for all the reasons listed) or even hint text below an input. I prefer it directly below the label text. #a11y#accessibility#formDesign
As I read the messages about #GAAD, I'm heartened to know new folks are thinking about #a11y now, and I'm eager to see how they'll use their new knowledge. Without #accessibility , I couldn't work or have a productive life. This grinch's heart grew three sizes today. 😊
Twitter friends I have some questions about ADHD - it would be great to know if there's anyone out there could help answer them? (Provided they are comfortable discussing their experiences) 🙏✨
Argh! We're missing too many sessions because the rooms aren't large enough to hold the people who want to attend. I can't even get into my own employer's sessions! #CSUNATC2019
