I'm appalled that the B-listed Africa House in Ardeer, one of the last surviving buildings of Glasgow's 1938 Empire Exhibition, has just been illegally demolished. No listed building consent.
The owner has likely committed a criminal offence. They should be forced to rebuild it.

ALT Africa House was designed by James Miller for the 1938 Empire Exhibition in Glasgow. It was originally a temporary structure built to house an exhibit of South African goods.
ALT After the 1938 exhibition, the pavilion was purchased by ICI Nobel. The company transported the structure to their explosives manufacturing plant in Ardeer, North Ayrshire.
ALT All that remains of the B-listed Africa House. There is no listed building application listed on North Ayrshire Council's planning portal.
