On @LNER service from Darlington to Kings Cross. Treat ourselves to First Class as start of our holiday. Hayley serving food and drinks today is a credit to you, very friendly and super efficient. #lner

🟩 Line reopened between Wolverhampton and Birmingham after a tree fell on the line just north of Coseley 🌳 🛠️ Our teams quickly got on site to remove the tree and get services moving again 🧡 Thanks for your patience while we worked to fix the issue

Absolutely first-class service from @LNER today. Arrived at Berwick-upon-Tweed and realised I’d booked the wrong date. Adam the guard escorted me to the ticket office, and Kirsten quickly sorted both my ticket and return — all within minutes and I still made my train.

Congratulations to my former boss, @LNER chairman and DfT Operator CEO Robin Gisby OBE on his well-deserved recognition in today’s King’s Birthday Honours. From the start of LNER in 2018 through to the end of 2025, Robin encouraged us to ‘Be Bold’, he was consistently supportive of our vision and ambition to create a better railway. He has also been a notable supporter of the important work of @RBF1858 and other railway charities. Thank you and congratulations Robin!

Bugle ✅ Station 1854 of 2596 ✅ First of 4 request stops on this line that I will be doing and the busiest of them all. The main village is only a 10-minute walk from the station, being treated to absolutely beautiful weather after a lot of rain the past few days @GWRHelp

Congratulations to Robin Gisby on a well deserved OBE in the King's Birthday Honours. A railway lifer, from launching a private sector intermodal freight service in the 1980s to a succession of senior posts at Railtrack and Network Rail and then leading OLR as it became DFTO.
