Sometimes, a piece of content (ex. anime, album, etc) at the right time in life can help you zoom out make sense of your own purpose -- this movie did that for me.

100% agree.
2/ PMs no longer just build, they are expected to own a business unit and drive the business forward. At the CPO level you need to understand financials and balance a PnL.

I am SOLD on interactive storytelling. Netflix is now the leader in this format. Yet another moat that traditional distribution channels cannot easily replicate β these are no longer shows on Netflix, these are at the center of Netflix.

When I was young, I assumed people who were middle-aged and older had everything figured out and were operating on a solid plan, but as I got older I realized that isn't even close to being true. Almost everyone is making it up as they go along, even if they don't admit it
