Putin continues to murder his critics in European nations and face zero consequences.
⚡️ Russian artist Semyon Skrepetsky was killed in Poland: he had previously harshly mocked Putin and Kadyrov The murder took place in the city of Biała Podlaska, near the border with Belarus, where a refugee camp is located. After moving from Russia, Skrepetsky passed through this center and remained living in the city with his family. Several people may have been involved in the attack. The taxi driver who drove them was detained near the Belarusian consulate in the city. Earlier, Skrepetsky took part in an action at the Russian embassy in Berlin. The artist came wearing bast shoes, with a Russian flag tied to his trousers, and carrying a painting depicting Stalin “feeding” Putin. He also created satirical paintings in which he mocked Kadyrov, Putin, and Russian officials.

Republicans are Asking What Has America Actually Signed? Donald Trump is hailing the Iran deal as a victory. But several Republicans are now demanding answers about what the United States has actually agreed to. The actual text has not been released. The framework has been digitally signed, with a formal ceremony expected later, but its full contents remain undisclosed. Which is a bit like celebrating a contract you haven’t been allowed to read. The core dispute is uranium enrichment. The official American position has been zero enrichment. Iran’s atomic energy chief has said Iran will not accept any such limits. These are not positions that naturally meet in the middle. Even Lindsey Graham, one of Washington’s most committed Iran hawks, is rattled. He supports a deal in principle, but says Iran’s version of what was agreed “sounds terrible.” His test is simple: if Iran gets to keep enriching uranium, this is Obama’s JCPOA with a different logo on the cover. The same deal Trump spent years calling a catastrophic embarrassment. National Review calls it deeply troubling if Iran retains civilian enrichment rights, and notes the deal appears to say nothing about Iran’s ballistic missile programme either. Senator Thom Tillis was more direct: “If it’s a secret deal, how can I take it seriously?” Nobody outside the negotiating room knows what America has actually committed to. The country has signed something, celebrated it loudly, and declined to show anyone what it says.

“Judge Chambers noted he is serving more than 40 years for crimes in NSW, with it being more than likely he will die in custody before being released.” Good, fine with that. Hope NSW doesn’t go soft and let him out when he’s circling the drain, and just let him slowly rot.

No panic in Crimea whatsoever. Locals are so relaxed that instead of siphoning fuel from cars, they now steal the entire fuel tank. No tank, no fuel problem. Problem solved. 😏

Comrade Vadim kindly explains that USA attacked Iran for a made up reason, failed to achieve its goals and in some cases got the opposite result of it wanted, therefore USA lost. Obviously this doesn't apply to our complete clusterfuck, @runews

Ex-US ambassador to Ukraine, Taylor: Putin likely expected Trump to pressure Zelenskyy into accepting Moscow’s view. That has not happened. Zelenskyy is more confident because he knows, war ends only when enough pressure is put on Putin, not when Ukraine is pushed to concede. 1/

When Lavrov says Ukrainian land was always theirs, he's admitting that russia never planned to uphold the multiple agreements they signed ratifying Ukraine's 1991 borders. It's another reminder that agreements with russia are worthless. Remember that.

The UN never seems to be able to identify who’s responsible. Russia. It was Russia.
In the context of the escalation of the war in Ukraine following the invasion by the Russian Federation, @UNESCO condemns the reported strike on 15 June that hit the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, within the World Heritage property “Kyiv: Saint-Sophia Cathedral and Related Monastic Buildings, Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra”, one of Ukraine’s most significant spiritual and cultural landmarks. The strike reportedly caused significant damage to the exterior and interior of the Dormition Cathedral. Adjacent historic structures, including elements of the Lavra’s fortification complex and Ivan Kushnik Tower, were also reportedly impacted. #UNESCO condemns attacks against cultural property, educational institutions, students, education personnel and media professionals protected under international law. Damage to such institutions deprives communities of access to culture, education, and shared spaces that are essential for recovery and social cohesion. UNESCO stands ready to support relevant authorities in assessing damage to cultural and educational institutions and identifying urgent measures within its mandate. unesco.org/en/articles/unesc…

If he’s looking for an investment property then by definition he is *not* looking for his first home, and if he’s put off by negative gearing changes he can still build a new property and negatively gear that.
