It’s been 7 days since I’ve spoken to anyone other than my cats, a month since I had to leave work due to abuse with absolutely no follow up, two months since a traumatic brain injury, and three months since an STI unraveled every lie my partner of 6 years told me.

I’m thankful. Always grateful.
Just because I have that gratitude-attitude, that doesn’t mean it’s OK to abuse me. That’s the big take away from my year.

Concussions are not a joke.
But I was so angry I had to miss my camping trip I just splurged on an all-inclusive trip to tulum in Janurary for my birthday.
20 years is long enough to wait for a vacation.
