Very sad to share Brian died on 5th March. It was peaceful but sudden. He was an incredible human; warm, wickedly funny, courageous, with a huge sense of morality. His beloved wife, Maggie, family and friends are devastated but very grateful for all the love in his memory

🚨🚨🚨 BREAKING: MAGA Tourists Boycott Spain And UK This Summer, Furious Those Countries Refuse To Support Trump DES MOINES, IA — In a bold act of international retaliation, several MAGA supporters confirmed this week that they will not be traveling to Spain or the United Kingdom this summer, citing deep frustration that these countries “won’t get on board” with what President Trump is doing. “We’re tired of countries that refuse to support Trump,” said one attendee, adjusting his red cap with the solemnity of a statesman. “So we’re staying home. No Spain. No UK. Let them enjoy their little castles and beaches without us.” Analysts say the boycott is expected to be highly sustainable, as it requires no planning, no passport, and no exposure to unfamiliar food that is not deep fried. The decision is also being praised for its practical realism. Multiple supporters confirmed that even if the urge to visit Europe struck unexpectedly, the lack of available funds would immediately restore ideological clarity. “It’s not just the principle,” said another participant, wearing a shirt that loudly declared he would rather be Russian than a Democrat. “It’s also that there’s no room in the budget. And if I take more than two days off, I’m pretty sure my boss replaces me with some other guy from the neighborhood who already owns steel toe boots and has never ‘needed a mental health day’ in his life.” European tourism officials responded with measured calm, noting that the boycott may lead to slightly shorter lines at museums, and a marginally quieter summer in coastal towns that were not previously overwhelmed by visitors from places without paid leave. At press time, the boycott was reportedly expanding to include France, Italy, and any country where the average worker can take a vacation without having to negotiate it like a hostage release. I have never claimed to be a theologian but I do have two degrees in theology and have been a priest for 17 years. NOWHERE in the bible or in any serious theology I have ever read are Christians told that we should start wars to hasten the return of Jesus. This is a perversion of our faith.

as a Spaniard, i'm utterly devastated to hear Trump wants to cut ties with Spain. how will we survive without lectures on freedom from a man who thinks paella needs ketchup? we'll try to cope with universal healthcare and 30 days of paid vacation. thoughts and tapas y'all 🇪🇸

BREAKING: Marjorie Taylor Greene just completely went off on President Trump over the war in Iran. “We’re in another fucking war, and American troops are being killed.” “We need to have a serious conversation about what the fuck is happening to this country.” I agree 100% with this.

Gary is one of the best presenters on BBC News. Boots pharmacy just told him not to go out alone as a blind person. Gary travels the world reporting on global politics and doesn't need a minder to pick up some paracetamol. What are @BootsUK thinking of?
The branch of Boots on Great Portland Street has just told me that I should have someone with me when I come out as a blind person. When I objected to them telling me howl to lead my life, they said it was for my own good. Unbelievable. Last time I go in there #boots

All the money in the world won’t make me feel any better about myself. The abc standing up and sorry publicly and meaning it and proving to me that why happened to me won’t happen to any others. Is what must happen.
