If you think fertilized eggs are people but parents who've crossed the oceans with their kids aren't, stop pretending your concerns are religious.

Today marks nine years since the Grenfell Tower fire. Nine years without justice. 72 people lost their lives in a tragedy that was entirely preventable. And yet not one person has faced criminal accountability. Not one prosecution. Not one conviction. Not one person behind bars. Grenfell was not an accident. It was the result of human life being treated as less important than profit. And thousands of people across the UK are still living in buildings wrapped in the same deadly failures that made Grenfell possible. We remember the 72. We stand with the survivors, the bereaved families, the North Kensington community, and the firefighters who were there that night. We will not stop demanding justice šŸ’š

"Hiring, promoting, or treating someone more favourablyĀ solelyĀ because they have a protected characteristic" is literally illegal under the equality act. Have you tried reading it?
What is the divisive Equality Act? Why do we need to get rid of it? How will we protect workplace safeguards for pregnant women, the disabled and gay people? Other parties will tinker and play catch up but @reformparty_uk is the only party with the backbone to restore fairness and stand up for working mums. All you need to know here šŸ‘‡

Fourteen women who'd had breast cancer posed for a photoshoot showing their bodies after mastectomy precisely to show they are empowered. Even though they've been seriously ill As ever you don't speak for everyone.
Dear Lush (cc Chelmsford City Council), As a woman who had half a breast removed last year due to cancer, I am writing to raise my concerns about your ā€œProud of My Stripesā€ window display. I am also, on behalf of other women who have experienced breast cancer, respectfully requesting its removal. Because mastectomies are not a fashion statement, an identity marker or something to be celebrated. They are something women undergo because they are ill, because they are frightened, because they are trying to stay alive. Around 59,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer in the UK every year. Many will undergo surgery - a mastectomy, lumpectomy or other procedure. Others choose preventive mastectomies because they carry a high-risk BRCA gene mutation. If a woman chooses to have her breasts removed to affirm a gender identity, that is her personal choice. I honestly don’t know the number of women who have elective mastectomies for this reason. What I do know is that it is a tiny number compared with those for whom breast surgery is medically necessary and not something to be celebrated. I think I speak for many women who have experienced breast cancer - and for their families - when I say this: Breast removal surgery is not something I regard as cute, playful or empowering. Nor is it something I believe retailers should be celebrating. For that reason, I am requesting that the display be removed and that @ChelmsCouncil apologise for promoting it on social media. Yours sincerely, Janet Murray

The level of abuse overnight from extreme right characters is a sign that they know yesterday on the streets, they lost! Electorally, we face big challenges too, yesterday's superb anti fascist mobilisations showed we can stop the likes of Farage too. @AntiRacismDay

Self pity from a man who still openly is pals with paedophile defender Justin Smith (pic 2, on right) & mixes with neo nazis like Lance Wright, is typical of Phil Hickin. @AntiRacismDay @Searchlight_mag @LouiseRawAuthor

Ryan Bridge has been filmed striking a female protestor in the face in Brighton. That single act destroys any claim Raise the Colours make about ā€œprotecting women and girls.ā€ Please share this he cannot be allowed to get away with it. I hope she’s okay and has reported the assault to the police.

Tommy Robinson returned from Moscow today to find counter-terrorism officers waiting at Heathrow. Detained under the Counter-Terrorism and Border Security Act, he still found time to crowdfund his legal defence - or his next holiday. Read more here: searchlightmagazine.com/2026… @uaf @AntiRacismDay

Interesting how so many 'patriots' - including this character who joined those who tried and failed to march in Brighton today - apparently love Britain so much they do Nazi salutes isn't it... wonder who this fascist - sorry 'patriot' - might be... @Searchlight_mag @uaf

Thousands joined anti-racism demonstrations across the UK after days of anti-immigration unrest. Large crowds gathered in Belfast and Glasgow to reject racism and far-right mobilisation following riots that targeted ethnic minorities, homes and businesses.
