Third angle of today’s shooting of a 37-year-old male by agents with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in Minneapolis, Minnesota, clearly shows one of the agents running away from the scuffle before the shooting carrying the victim's handgun, a Sig P320.

Here's how far we have fallen. The five ICE officers surrounding the Honda Pilot of Renee Good had no authority over her. Zero. They have no local law enforcement authority. She was born in the US. A citizen. They could not have had probable cause of an immigration violation. The literally did not have the authority to stop & interrogate her — to order her to produce "papers," to yank open the door of her SUV, let alone kill her. (The US Supreme Court has ruled that US law enforcement can't use deadly force to stop someone fleeing — even if there's a crime involved. And there wasn't a crime.) So the people saying Good would be alive if she just followed orders — wrong. Why should she? ICE works for *her* — not the other way around. They work for us. You don't have to follow the "orders" of people who have no authority to give you orders. That's what the Founding Fathers believed, and what they enshrined in the Constitution. Not: Just do what officials tell you until they can satisfy themselves. Only Trump and Noem, and ICE, in 2025 and 2026 have decided to discard that. That is tyranny. That's what Americans fought the Revolution against. So if you're a conservative, or a Trump supporter, and you've read this far — check your Constitution. Check your Federalist Papers. You've lost the plot. Of freedom, democracy, even of capitalism. Certainly of the question of what "authority" law enforcement has over perfectly innocent citizens — going about their business, or driving, or even protesting. 1A. You're obsessed with 2A. But there's an amendment that comes first.

To my MAGA friends out there, let me help you out: This was not a “law enforcement” action. This wasn’t akin to an “arrest” in New York. It was the removal of a country’s leader, with no coordination with Congress, and no coordination with the international community. Now, whether Maduro is legitimate or not becomes irrelevant at this point - the United States is not the world’s law enforcement agency. Had another country taken it upon themselves, for example, to invade Israel and “arrest” Benjamin Netanyahu, you’d be calling it a war crime and a violation of international law. The irony here is you all claimed you knew all of this. You allegedly voted for Trump because you said he wouldn’t get involved in more foreign entanglements. Yet now, you’re ok if he bombs Iran, takes over Greenland, or unilaterally invades another country and removes its leader. You have no core beliefs. This situation once again proves that. Just admit you’re cultists of an authoritarian regime and be done with it. Admit you’re ok with whatever Trump does, no matter how illegal, no matter how un-American, and be done with it.

4 days out from my life-changing surgery, @Aetna has denied the appeal for my brain surgery. to be clear, when i signed up to aetna months ago, the coordinator had confirmed they would cover this surgery. then, a week ago, they said the surgery was too experimental/elective and denied coverage. we appealed. that appeal was just denied today. now, my neurosurgeon is trying to do a peer-to-peer consult with someone at aetna to explain why i need it so we don’t lose the surgery date on monday morning. aetna is not being responsive. this is sadistic and a violation of basic trust. please spread this so they can’t ignore it. they may not care if i live or die but people should know just what kind of company they’re dealing with. and please pray they are able to have a peer-to-peer consult with my neurosurgeon and have a change of heart.
