Conservatives are the ones that started it, with their “neutrality law” pushes. This is what people don’t understand about this type of logic, careful what you ask for because eventually, it will be used against you.

I have formally tabled my first piece of legislation!
Bill C-285 will save Canadians thousands of dollars by scrapping the GST on used cars. This is a responsible, costed, commonsense proposal I hope will have support across party lines.

On February 20th, 2026 Smith seemed (?) to commit to putting the Water Not Coal petition on the ballot in October.
The petition was issued on the February 10th, 2026.
Smith knew then that the Legislature wouldn't be sitting by the time it was done.
