Conservatives are the ones that started it, with their “neutrality law” pushes. This is what people don’t understand about this type of logic, careful what you ask for because eventually, it will be used against you.
"This sets a bad precedent"—@CoryBMorgan on the Town of Taber ordering him to remove Alberta separation billboards. He says it can go both ways, noting conservative towns could just as easily refuse pro-Canada signs. Do you agree? LISTEN: traffic.megaphone.fm/CORU622…

I bet you they will not take off the entire 13 cents, citing some BS reason.

Don't like the guy, or anything he tends to say, but this would make sense on the surface. Any used good should not be taxed.
I have formally tabled my first piece of legislation! Bill C-285 will save Canadians thousands of dollars by scrapping the GST on used cars. This is a responsible, costed, commonsense proposal I hope will have support across party lines.

“If there is a toxic dynamic in Alberta’s relationship with the rest of Canada right now, it’s coming from the separatists.” “They are the ones poisoning the partnership by isolating Albertans from the country they helped build, promising a utopian future, gaslighting them into mistrusting their own Canadian identity, and using ultimatums to make them choose province over patriotism.”

She’s not going to let water not coal on the ballot in October. If you’re one of the 200,000 who signed the petition, it’s time to write your MLA. #abpoli #ableg #cdnpoli
Today, Smith announced that she is not going to allow Albertans to vote on the Water not Coal petition for literally YEARS. How do we know? Let's start with the clip from "Your Province, Your Premier" where she states she'll follow the process in the act... /1 #abpoli #ableg

"Whether it's the independence petition or the coal petition, if they get the requisite signatures, our intention would be to put those on the ballot at the same time." Here's Premier Danielle Smith on Feb 20 vowing to put a successful coal petition to a referendum vote.
There it is. Premier Danielle Smith confirms that if either the sovereignty or coal petitions are successful, Albertans will vote on that referendum question on October 19th alongside the other proposed questions.

So much for helping create jobs in Canada's media industry. Right @PierrePoilievre ?
Poilievre’s Conservatives’ latest ad featured ‘Canadians’ who weren’t even real. It takes us to a dark place, @Justin_Ling writes thestar.com/opinion/star-col… Find out more at nationalnewswatch.com

On February 20th, 2026 Smith seemed (?) to commit to putting the Water Not Coal petition on the ballot in October. The petition was issued on the February 10th, 2026. Smith knew then that the Legislature wouldn't be sitting by the time it was done. /1 #abpoli

Lots of conservatives keep coming back to the residential school graves story. They see the lack of remains (so far) as a victory. I ask them: what about the children who were actually, inarguably taken from their families and put in those schools? Isn't that scandal enough?

Everyone who’s never lived outside of Alberta, wanting to separate after being gaslit for decades, should listen to this.
