On a recent visit to Nepal, I met a little girl named Sharmila suffering from severe acute malnutrition. @UNICEF ensured that she had access to Ready-To-Use-Therapeutic Food -- often known as PlumpyNut -- which contains the nutrition necessary to bring kids back from the brink of death. Talking to her mom and the nurse, it will be a long road back to health for Sharmila, but it's a road made possible by UNICEF.

Constructive meeting with @UNReliefChief Tom Fletcher about the key reforms needed for the UN to properly deliver on one of its core mandates: delivering aid to those most in need.
