I have fought the neocons and warmongers in Washington for more than 25 years. Throughout, they have tried to silence, discredit, slander, and cancel me. Only recently, however, have they tried to deport me. At least, that appears to have been the aim of a hit piece in Bari Weiss’s The Free Press, which claimed that Marco Rubio’s State Department was “investigating” me for allegedly seeking to “undermine the U.S.”—presumably because of my opposition to war with Iran. Yet just hours later, the State Department issued a statement to reporters clarifying that “the State Department has no plans to revoke the green card of Mr. Parsi at this time.” Nor did it provide any confirmation for the central premise of the Free Press story—that an investigation of me existed in the first place. So here’s what I think happened. Read the full piece on my Substack: tritaparsi.substack.com/p/so…

A soldier troubled by Israel's 1967 shoot-to-kill policy recalled a conversation with his commander: “I asked the officer: And if I hear babies crying, should I shoot them too? The answer I received was: Don’t be a girl.” There is nothing unusual about Israeli soldiers murdering babies. Israel is known to have killed more than 1,000 babies in Gaza under the age of one since 7 October 2023, not all of them anonymously in strikes from the air. The Israeli military allowed a group of five premature babies in al-Nasser hospital to die and decompose in their incubators after its soldiers took over the building in late 2023. Israeli commanders also knew that the first to die from a blockade of aid would be the most vulnerable. Babies froze or starved to death as the population was deprived of shelter, baby formula and food, with their mothers lacking sufficient nutrition to produce milk. As the testimony from a soldier in 1967 noted, Israeli military doctrine encourages troops to stop seeing Palestinians, even Palestinian babies, as “human”. Their lives are considered worthless. Israeli soldiers murdered another Palestinian baby last week in the West Bank, after they ambushed a car driven by a lecturer from Bethlehem university, Fahd Abu Haikal, in the Palestinian city of Hebron, which is under particularly brutal occupation. One of the soldiers fired into the car, as it was slowing to a halt, from only a few metres away – from where he must have been able to see the passengers inside. The bullet killed Abu Haikal’s seventh-month-old baby, Sam, and wounded his wife, who was holding the infant. Abu Haikal’s 11-year-old son, also in the car, watched his baby brother bleed to death. Israeli soldiers have been murdering Palestinian babies for decades. Yet none of it has roused an ounce of the outrage uniformly expressed by western media and politicians at Israel’s entirely fabricated claim that Hamas killed 40 babies on 7 October 2023. This is an extract from my latest article How Israel planned the Gaza genocide decades ago. Find a link to the rest in the reply post ⬇️

Peace Derangement Syndrome (PDS) Primarily associated with chickenhawks who have never experienced a shot fired in anger & who would never, under any circumstances, go to war themselves.
If all these governments have agreed on this deal, it’s amazing how all these governments signed up so fast while we were announcing we’d be bombing asap. Since it’s done can we see it? And what is in this deal?! Can we see it?

If you watched US media you might think Hezbollah was invading Lebanon, not Israel. No, whether you like them or not, Hezbollah is defending Lebanon from an invading army - the IDF. Israel is attacking Lebanon and plans to take southern Lebanon. They are clearly the aggressors.

Thank you Thomas Massie for recognizing the heroic members of the USS Liberty, which was attacked by Israel, where 34 crew members were killed and 174 were wounded. Why did our “greatest ally” attack us??
59 years ago today, Israel attacked the USS Liberty in international waters. 34 crew members were killed and 174 were wounded by the IDF. Today, I spoke on the House floor to honor the fallen and to recognize the survivors who were present in the gallery.

Most Moral Baby Killers in The World
Israel executed baby Sam today with a bullet to the face in the occupied West Bank. They killed his mother too. Sam was only 7 months old. They murdered a mother. And her infant.

Israel has used American-supplied munitions to kill tens of thousands of innocent civilians. America is morally obligated to end support of Israel’s devastation of Gaza and its people. I’m cosponsoring the Block the Bombs Act to limit the transfer of offensive weapons to Israel.

Virtually every person Israel have ever killed was murdered with a US or European weapon. What does that say about the West? Uncomfortable question and the answer even more so.

I've been talking to a lot of press since I got banned from the UK. Media has been trained to believe the feelings of people who are pro-genocide are more important than lives of 23,000 Palestinian children. Their deaths are a minor problem, offending Zionists is a huge problem!

Yesterday, the IDF seized 4 students from their homes in the West Bank, including 20-year-old American, Sama Safi. The Israeli govt didn’t tell her family or the U.S. Embassy where or why she was being taken & is holding her without charges. America must secure her release NOW.

A few days ago, my family made a decision that no family should ever have to make. We packed a small bag with our most important documents and agreed to carry it with us wherever we go. Not because we are planning a trip, but because we have learned that in Gaza, life can change in five minutes. Our home was already destroyed in the war. Now we live in a rented apartment, and yet even this temporary shelter no longer feels permanent. The recent escalation in airstrikes and the growing number of homes being destroyed minutes after warnings are issued have brought back a feeling we know too well: The feeling that nothing is certain. Not where you will sleep tonight, not whether you will return home, not whether the place you call home will still exist tomorrow. I sometimes think about how absurd this transformation has been. Once, we had a large house and a garden, today the most important things we own fit inside a single backpack. Identification cards. Passports. Certificates. A few papers proving who we are. Sometimes I look at that bag and wonder how an entire life became so light. As if years of memories, celebrations, losses, and ordinary days had all been folded into documents that can be carried on a shoulder. Yesterday , an airstrike hit very close to where we live. Two people were killed, and twelve others were injured. What troubles me most is that we were there. We had been walking through the same streets, moving through the same area. Had our timing been slightly different, had we stopped for a few extra minutes, had we taken another route, perhaps this post would never have been written. That is how thin the line between life and death has become. A few minutes. A coincidence. A different turn at the corner. This is what life feels like now. Not a life built on plans, but on probabilities. Not security, but luck. Not certainty, but survival. So we carry our bags with us, not because they contain our possessions, but because they contain the last evidence of the lives we once had. And perhaps the strangest part of all is that we have begun to treat this as normal. A family carrying emergency bags wherever they go. An airstrike a few streets away. A narrow escape. And then another ordinary day. But none of this is ordinary. No family should have to carry its past on its shoulder because it is no longer certain of its future. And no human being should ever have to live this way!! #WoundedGaza

I’ve been banned from the UK. I tried to get on a flight to London to attend SXSW London and give a speech at Oxford. I’ve been banned for criticizing Israel. Are we free anymore? This is oppression of Western citizens by our own governments on behalf of a different country!

World leaders: the flotilla is desperately trying to draw your attention to the plight of the Palestinians. Torture, rape, broken bones, beating to death, inflicted on men women children. Their unbearable suffering is the consequence of (your?) complicity with Apartheid Israel.
Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar is desperately trying to repair the severe damage done to Israel's international image by claiming that National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir is not the face of Israel, following the release of a video showing Ben-Gvir abusing detained flotilla activists. "You knowingly caused harm to our State in this disgraceful display - and not for the first time. You have undone tremendous, professional, and successful efforts made by so many people - from IDF soldiers to Foreign Ministry staff and many others. No, you are not the face of Israel."
