Furthest south, the southerly surge expands northward along the Big Sur coast.
Next, the #willowfire near Arroyo Seco in Big Sur sends smoke NNW towards Carmel.

A couple of shots of @LosPadresNF forestry and associated agencies working hard on containment of the #millfire in Big Sur. A lot of what they do is backbreaking work. When you think of a firefighter, you may only think of water. Boy would you be wrong.

With the Mill Wildland Fire burning nearby, all trails in the Cone Peak area are closed. Please avoid the Kirk Creek, Vicente Flat, Stone Ridge, Cone Peak, Gamboa, North Coast Ridge, Ojito Camp, San Antonio, & Mill Creek Trails until the #millfire is contained.
