Jeff Bezos reveals why compromise is one of the worst ways to resolve a disagreement "An example of a really bad way of coming to agreement is compromise. If I say the ceiling is 11 feet and you say 12 feet, we say let's call it 11 and a half. That's compromise" "The advantage of compromise is it's low energy. But it doesn't lead to truth" "Another really bad resolution mechanism is who's more stubborn. Two executives disagree, they have a war of attrition, and whichever one gets exhausted first capitulates. You haven't arrived at truth, and this is very demoralizing" "Escalation is better than a war of attrition. Escalate to your boss and say, we can't agree, we like each other, we're respectful, but we strongly disagree, we need you to make a decision" "Exhausting the other person is not truth seeking. Compromise is not truth seeking"

I’m not a Manny Machado fan and I am baffled that he decided to work with @Teacherman1986 but I agree 💯 on his view of analytics and wish more players would speak out about it. I firmly believe that @MLB players are getting too much information and that it’s hurting their performance because they are overthinking. I believe in keeping it simple and using the tools you have developed over a lifetime of playing and going out and competing with a clear head. This is why tirzepatide causes more abdominal shrinkage at the same weight, retatrutide is literally fixing your body. It is saving you. Think of the ancillary benefits of the rest of your organs getting better Reta is a godsend. Use it even if you aren't trying to lose weight
Retatrutide's liver data is unlike anything we've seen from a weight loss drug: - 86% liver fat reduction at 48 weeks, most of it within the first 24 weeks - 93% of patients achieved completely normal liver fat levels For context, tirzepatide reduces liver fat by 45–57%. One in three adults has fatty liver disease and most don't know it. The reason for this is retatrutide's glucagon receptor. It tells the liver directly to burn its stored fat, not just reduce calories coming in.

🚨 LILLY WANTS TO KILL AFFORDABLE RETATRUTIDE. The whole story, and why you should care 👇 Right now Eli Lilly is in court fighting to reclassify retatrutide as a "biologic." If they win, the drug gets locked behind a 12-year wall and compounded reta is gone for good. And the whole thing hinges on TWO amino acids. Reta is a 39-amino-acid peptide. Anything over 40 gets classified as a biologic instead of a regular drug. Lilly wants 2 extra tacked-on amino acids counted so it crosses that line. Why fight this hard over what's basically a rounding error? 🔒 Biologic = 12 years of market exclusivity vs 5 for a normal drug 🔒 Biologic = permanently ineligible for compounding (no compounded reta, ever) 🔒 Biologic = years longer before Medicare can negotiate the price, while taxpayers foot the bill There's also a quieter motive: reta is stronger than tirzepatide (Mounjaro/Zepbound). Locking it up protects Lilly's blockbuster from getting cannibalized by its own better drug. Two amino acids should not decide whether millions can afford treatment. 📣 Tell your Reps and Senators to pay attention to this case. Find yours: congress.gov/members @LillyPad @a4pcrx @US_FDA @hubermanlab @thegarybrecka
Lilly is currently arguing in federal court that retatrutide should qualify as a biologic, a move that could reshape exclusivity timelines for future GLP-1 and peptide-based obesity medications. Access is changing, and education matters more than ever. Know the compounds. Know the legal landscape. Know what could affect availability over time. Stay informed.

On April 3rd, Milwaukee was 5-22 and one of the worst teams in the country. Some of their losses: Run-ruled 21-7 by LSU Run-ruled 20-3 by Duke Run-ruled 14-4 by Minnesota Run-ruled 12-2 by SEMO Run-ruled 17-1 by Purdue Run-ruled 14-1 by NKU Run-ruled 13-2 by Wright State Run-ruled 16-2 by Notre Dame Run-ruled 14-4 by UNLV They finished the regular season 22-31, but won the Horizon League tournament and earned an autobid to the NCAA tournament. Milwaukee beat #4 Auburn 13-8, beat UCF 13-6, and is now in a regional final, one win away from going to supers. College Baseball.

The hardest part of my workout is usually getting started. But every morning I choose to train, I stack a win before the day even begins. That momentum carries into my work, my family, and every challenge that follows. Success isn’t built on one massive effort.

A PARENT’S JOURNEY THROUGH YOUTH SPORTS: Age 5: “He’s got a cannon.” Age 6: “He’s the fastest kid out there. Coach said so.” Age 7: “Rec ball isn’t challenging him anymore.” Age 8: “We tried out for select. Obviously made it.” Age 9: “$2,800 for the season. Plus uniforms. Plus tournaments. Plus hotels.” Age 10: “Cooperstown is basically a family vacation, right?” Age 11: “He needs a hitting guy. And a pitching guy. And probably a mental performance coach.” Age 12: “I’m not a crazy sports parent. The OTHER parents are crazy.” Age 13: “We changed schools. For academics. (And also baseball.)” Age 14: “Showcases are a requirement at this age.” Age 15: “Ya his ranking just ticked up. We’re cooking.” Age 16: “He just needs to get seen by the right school.” Age 17: “The D1 schools want him to walk on. He’ll earn a spot by sophomore year.” Age 18: “Okay, D2 is actually really competitive.” Age 19: “He’s redshirting. Strategic.” Age 20: “He’s focusing on school now.” Age 21: “You know what? He’s so much happier.” Roughly 7% of high schoolers play in college. About 1.5% of those get drafted. Less than half of draftees ever play one day in the big leagues. The odds of our kids going pro are somewhere between “struck by lightning” and “find a $100 in old shorts.” I love youth sports (all my kids play a bunch of them) just keep a good perspective my friends. ✌️
