One of the key questions I have is "Who is going to clean house?" And I think any of these three, in addition to their strong urbanist credentials, are going to shake up DC government.

Raise your hand if you've thought about voting for Brooke Pinto for Delegate just to get her off the DC Council

NL has been bringing the pain in early interleague play. Just 5/15 AL teams with winning records vs 10/15 in NL.

In the brave new world of RCV, @DCYIMBYs blew this one by not ranking @goodweather4dc first even as they note he's "the only candidate in the race who has actually built housing in DC, and his platform reflects it... full alignment with all nine of our Comp Plan priorities."
Proud to announce our official endorsements for the June elections! For Mayor, we endorse the following slate in this order: 1. Janeese Lewis George @Janeese4DC 2. Kenyan McDuffie @kenyanmcduffie 3. Gary Goodweather @goodweather4dc 4. Rini Sampath @RiniSampath

We wish Bryce Harper the best. Truly. He wants to spend the rest of his career in Philadelphia. And we all hope he enjoys it.
The Philadelphia Phillies fired manager Rob Thomson, sources told ESPN. Don Mattingly will take over as interim manager. First on the news was @MattGelb.

Yes, I know that it is wrong to take joy in the misery of others. But have you been to a game at Nats Park when they are playing the Mets? #Natitude

Thank you to @dcyimbys for your thoughtful questionnaire! And for specifically including the #ChevyChaseCivicCore in your questionnaire. But let’s talk about the real cost of "scrapping the plan." When a "pro-housing" candidate promises to kill a housing project in a historically segregated neighborhood to design something "better," the timeline resets. Who pays for those years of delay? Vulnerable families who desperately need housing - now. I don’t think they give a xxxx about the devil in the details at this point and especially in this economic climate. #Supportthecore

Time is running out to get candidates on the record about how Ward 3 should grow and whether its finally time to legalize apartments throughout the Ward. @OPinDC has a proposed changes I think fall short. What do you think? Learn more here: uptownurbanist.com/blog/plan…

Hey @ggwash, has @CMFrumin answered your question about the proposed FLUM yet? Every ANC in Ward 3 has a proposed change, and I would argue not nearly enough. This issue will be before the Council next year and voters deserve to know where their Councilmember stand on the issue.

Also very pleased by @Janeese4DC response to @OPinDC proposed FLUM. Appreciate her support for legalizing row homes and apartments across the city.
DC's housing shortage is driving our affordability crisis — and we need to act like it. We cannot address the crisis while banning rowhomes and apartments across much of DC and codifying exclusion. There are too many missed opportunities here for a plan meant to get us to 2050.

Genuinely pleased by this statement from @kenyanmcduffie. I hope @OPinDC is listening!
My Full statement on the Office of Planning’s draft Future Land Use Map. Rent in DC is still too expensive. Owning a home is still out of reach for too many of our residents. Making it easier to build more housing is essential to solving those problems. Unfortunately, the draft future land use map released this week by the Office of Planning is simply insufficient to the task. dc2050.dc.gov/pages/draft-fu…

Bruce Bochy is out as manager with the Texas Rangers. The team says he can return as an advisor, though with multiple jobs open -- including the San Francisco Giants' -- Bochy could pursue an alternative option.
