Farmer Tom Trueman from Buckfastleigh Devon left baffled after his sheepdog Tilly reported to RSPCA for worrying his own flock Tom Trueman a 42 year old farmer from Buckfastleigh Devon was stunned to receive an RSPCA complaint after his border collie Tilly was reported for worrying his own flock of sheep. Tilly had been rounding up escaped sheep on a nearby road while Trueman stopped an approaching car with the complainant likely misinterpreting the herding as worrying. Trueman said the whole thing is laughable really and that usually if you see a sheep a sheepdog and a farmer you put two and two together. An RSPCA inspector who is a farmers daughter from Devon quickly understood the situation cleared it up and told him to tear up the letter with both of them laughing about it. Trueman said he endured two days of unnecessary stress from the complaint which he put down to ignorance while the RSPCA sent him pamphlets on dog behaviour.
