The people who have been completely, clearly & demonstrably incorrect about *checks notes* Every single social, economic and health issue over the past 10 years probably shouldn't be able to decide & enforce what is *true* and what is *not true*
The Liberals' Bill C-34 is a boomer plan to censor the internet, writes Jamie Sarkonak. 'The legislation aims to censor political speech, while putting draconian rules around what kids can do online' nationalpost.com/opinion/jam…

Bruce Arthur is the most retarded journalist/columnist/opinion "media person" in Canada. This is a group of people that includes Rachel Gilmore.
Were I running for a political leadership position in Canada I would simply not simp for Elon Musk, who is responsible for an incredible number of deaths, and is currently encouraging race riots in Ireland

The guy fronting Bill C-34 is @MarcMillerVM, the same Lib who, as recently as 2023, said he wanted to throw Canadians in jail for denying the existence of fake “unmarked graves” that he helped make up. What sane Cdn trusts these people to decide what people are allowed to say?
Bill C-34, the "social media ban" bill, contains the power to ban under-16s from all online games which I find cruel and unfair. Even worse, it would allow for government censorship of "harmful content," muzzling lawful conversations of adults. My column: nationalpost.com/opinion/jam…

In Canada, we celebrate the overpaid bureaucrat who makes six figures to do next to nothing while demonizing the entrepreneurs and business people who generate the dollars required to pay that bureaucrats salary. So many of our problems stem from this mentality.

You don’t have to love Elon Musk to recognize what this headline says about us. A country that spends more time criticizing wealth creation than encouraging it sends a clear message to builders: your success is tolerated, not celebrated. Canada should be the best place in the world to build ambitious companies. Headlines like this make us look like we’re not quite ready for that.

The semi-daily complete shutdown of the 401 behind my house on sunny summer days involving tractor trailers. Is because diversity is our strength. And because flip flops are both perfect summer attire and comfortable footwear for driving an 18 wheeler.
ROAD CLOSURE: Highway 401 westbound is closed between Edward Street and Merwin Lane in Prescott due to a multi-vehicle collision involving two tractor trailers and two passenger vehicles. Multiple occupants injured and are being assessed. Expect lengthy closure, avoid the area and plan alternate routes. ^pia

If you are looking for the opinions of mine alone from someone with upside-down eyeglasses to the exponent of 96 (plus some other best hits) in his bio: Here is a good one. And people wonder why this country is screwed? There's all kinds of these guys.
My neighbor had gross income in 2025 of $35,890 . Her largest expense is rent, followed by food, then utilities. She is living within her means and not complaining. If you are earning $36K /year or more and complaining about the cost of living, perhaps you have a budgeting issue.

Hey Bill, wanna shut down the economy for a cold that kills 99 yr olds and gives everyone else a sore throat? Then wanna elect the exact same goddamn people who decided that was a good idea over, and over and over again? Sure! Let's try it and see what happens!

Agreed with Alex. I think there's a difference between those who said/tweeted stupid things during COVID and those who enacted/enforced oppressive measures. I'm willing to forgive the former (Lombardi today referred to it as "covid crazies") but not the latter.
I don’t love Eric Lombardi’s Covid tweets either. 'Covid zero' was a Machiavellian cult, led by deputized activists and academics. But Doug Ford did the deputizing, and had moment upon moment upon moment to show better leadership, and to stop fomenting fear and weakness. That is a failure that is far greater than any young professional needing time to learn that the David Fismans, Ryan Imgrunds, and Bruce Arthurs were untrustworthy malignant narcissists.

I doubt very much this will come to pass - But it would almost be worth it just to watch all the insufferable morons who post about boycotting vacations to Florida lose their jobs & starve to death in the street.

Anyone who was "optimistic" about Canada's future 6 months ago is retarded. Anyone who was "optimistic" about Canada's future 6 months ago but is now "not optimistic" is retarded and just lost their job.
The most important finding in our latest poll isn't the horse race. It's the mood. After several waves of growing optimism, Canadians have become noticeably more cautious about the country's direction. At the same time, approval is down and the Liberal lead has narrowed. Liberal Boomers: Well you should have seen things back in '81. We lived in a carpool lot and we didn't waste money on buying a coffee. Because we knew the value of hard work. Pass over that Portuguese beach resort brochure again, Joyce. I'd like to take a second look at it.
