LIFE AUDIT PLUS Partners Convene for 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗹𝘆 in Castellón (#Spain) On November 13th, 2025, the partners of the LIFE AUDIT PLUS project gathered for an in-person General Assembly meeting at the @ITC_ceramica headquarters on the Universitat Jaume I (#UJI) Campus in Castellón de la Plana. The meeting was a valuable opportunity to review achievements, discuss upcoming challenges, and strengthen collaboration through #Networking . 🔎 Key topics included: 🖊️ Project management and coordination (IERC) 🖊️Tools and resources to address gaps in regional ecosystems (EnergyLab) 🖊️Implementation of 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 for Energy Intensive Industry #EIIs (IERC) 🖊️Sustainability, replication, and exploitation of results – including an interactive #workshop on dissemination and replication strategies (NAPE) 🖊️Dissemination and communication, with networking opportunities among LIFE projects (A3E) The Second General Assembly was a great opportunity to move forward with the project’s objectives through #collaboration and productive networking among all partners. The Audit Plus project, co-funded by the European Union, is driving a new wave of #energyefficiency by helping companies transform audit recommendations into real savings. 🚀Key Objectives of Audit Plus project: 🔌Empower Energy-Intensive Industries (#EIIs) — including pharmaceutical, chemical, healthcare in #Ireland; ceramics in Castellón (#Spain); fishing and food processing in Galicia (Spain); and food processing in #Poland — with bespoke technical, financial, regulatory, and training support to convert audit findings into concrete, cost-effective measures. 🔌Provide a free consultancy service, offering in-depth technical audits, simulations, and cost-benefit analyses tailored to 1–2 key energy-intensive processes or equipment, helping industries achieve tangible energy and cost savings. 🔌Build operational groups and cross-border platforms, bridging decision-makers, associations, and technology providers to identify gaps, improve standards and support frameworks (including finance) for easier implementation of energy-saving measures. 🔌Adapt regulatory knowledge and tools into practical, user-friendly formats to empower EIIs and enhance uptake of energy audits and renewable energy integration.
