Harris: “He actually thanked President Xi for what he did during Covid… When we know that Xi was responsible for not giving us transparency about the origins of Covid.” This seems like Harris endorsing the lab leak theory. But I think probably she was talking about China’s overall unhelpful actions in the first phase of the pandemic, such as concealing the extent of the outbreak, etc, rather than referring to the “origin” of the virus itself. Either way, she is correct, in my opinion. But I just don’t think she was trying to make lab leak news.
