One of the highlights of the Texas GOP Convention was meeting Benjamin. This young man came up to me, introduced himself, and asked for my endorsement in his race for class president. I was proud to offer my wholehearted support and film a campaign endorsement video with my new friend. If his confidence and determination are any indication, I’d say his classmates have a strong candidate on the ballot. Best of luck, Benjamin. I’m rooting for you. And who knows? Maybe this future Republican leader will find himself on the Speaker’s dais one day. #txlege

Tim Dunn and His Goons. substack.com/@texastruth/not… “Their value was not legislative competence, policy depth, or an ability to expand the vote. Their value was as battering rams against sitting GOP state reps who would not take orders from Tim Dunn and his merry band of idiots.”

Laying a real broadcaster to rest today @ChadHastyRadio. I believe the @TexasGOP and nationally are faltering due in no small part to the death of Rush Limbaugh @OfficialRushUSA. More than radio. We miss the steady and entertaining voice of reason in a world of cliche commentary.

💪🇺🇸 fired up about this! Thank you, @SecRollins and @SecKennedy for providing bold leadership for America’s cotton producers and industry. The fabric of our lives and the fabric of our Nation! 100% Cotton is 100% Cool!
The Great American Cotton Plan is about one thing: Putting American cotton first again. Real “_____” wear cotton. 👖🌱 Americans. Cowboys. Farmers. Families. MAHA. Because cotton is real, natural, American-grown, and made by U.S. farmers. Here’s the plan 👇    ✅ Promote natural American-grown fibers over synthetic, plastic-based materials   ✅ Expand domestic cotton manufacturing and textile production   ✅ Increase export opportunities for U.S. cotton producers   ✅ Strengthen support for cotton mills and processors   ✅ Protect cotton growers from market volatility and adverse risk   ✅ Modernize facilities and expand production capacity   ✅ Support long-term profitability for America’s cotton farmers      This is about rebuilding an industry that supports jobs, rural communities, American manufacturing, and our agricultural future.      Plant, not plastic.

ICYMI: @GregAbbott_TX says @bofrench would “wreck” Texas oil and gas if elected to the Railroad Commission. Abbott on Tuesday slammed GOP Railroad Commission candidate Bo French, saying he “doesn’t know anything about oil and gas.” He cast the race for the often-overlooked statewide office as existential for the state economy, especially amid soaring gas prices during the ongoing war with Iran. The commission oversees the oil and gas industry. “Bo French’s agenda would wreck the miracle that we have in producing more oil and gas than ever before — by the way, more oil and gas than what Iran produces,” Abbott said. At a campaign stop, Abbott told a crowd of Republicans, “We need @JimWright4Texas to be reelected to continue to lead that way.”

I am proud to endorse @JimWright4Texas for reelection to the Texas Railroad Commission.   Commissioner Wright has helped keep Texas at the forefront of American energy. His leadership has strengthened the industry that powers our economy—supporting well-paying jobs, advancing our nation’s energy independence, and ensuring Texas stays the best state in America to do business.   Jim Wright has delivered for Texas, and he’s the conservative voice of experience and integrity we need on the RRC.

In Lubbock, Council Dist 3, please vote TODAY for Jon Bruegel for city council. He has a business and a family, owns a house and pays too much in property taxes. The other guy is a non-starter. We have enough unemployed political activists in office and running for office.

Strong leadership means understanding both the responsibility of government and the impact its decisions have on everyday Texans. Rep. @CarlTepper has built his career on service, from the military to business to public office, with a focus on protecting Texas values and strengthening our state. I’m grateful for his support as we continue working to keep Texas energy reliable and strong.

If congressional Republicans really want to be reelected this fall then they should fix the massive problem of SPAM CALLS. It matters to business.
