Under certain conditions it can hold structure, such as quasi phased temporal crystals. In its natural phase it exhibits fluid symmetry, analogous to a condensate state. The transport substrate is therefore one of phased time with varying temporal densities, which we perceive as energy density. Like all fluid media, it seeks equilibrium. The process of that equilibration is what we observe as gravitation. Time seeks equilibrium within the transport substrate. As such, the deeper relationship is resolved. The inertia associated with gravity is a hydrodynamic response of the underlying transport medium. Mass is defined by resistance to temporal transport. Greater resistance produces greater temporal density and therefore a stronger gravitational response. The question is not what gravity pulls with.
