Gary, it is hard to believe that your job is "conflict transformation advocacy" when you begin with the simplistic assertion that women objecting to the glorification of mastectomy scars 'hate trans people', and you cannot see what women lose when we are reduced to a costume.

Pride in Surrey 2026 has been cancelled, citing rising costs and a loss of corporate sponsorship. With Surrey County Council’s review still unpublished, it’s no surprise sponsors are wary of an organisation whose founder is in prison for child s*x offences.

Free legal advice, if you don't want a fairly substantial sentence from a respected High Court Judge, it is open to you NOT to break into private property and then wallop a defenceless female officer with a sledgehammer.

These thugs fractured the spine of Sgt Kate Evans, who spoke in court of the medical and emotional trauma she still lives with. Prison is where they belong. Unlike Zack Polanski, I want serious consequences for anyone who attacks police officers risking their lives to protect us.
Gut wrenching to see four young people jailed for direct action against an arms supplier to Israel. Years in prison for protesting to save lives in Gaza, with 'terrorism' used despite no jury convicting them of it. A truly dangerous attack on the right to protest.

WellBN clinic did not practise healthcare, they practised gender affirming care. The reckless disregard for children's health and safety is a feature, not a bug, of the gender affirming care model. transgendertrend.com/wellbn-…

Taking a jack hammer to the back of a police woman has consequences. Good on Mr Justice Johnson handing down respectable sentences.
Charlotte Head - 6 years Ellie Kamio - 6 years Fatima Zeinab - 5 years 8 months Samuel Corner - 8 years Head and Corner are particularly deserving of these long sentences. Let the hunger strikes begin! #PalestineAction

"An Open Letter to the Surgeon Who Removed My Breasts. I have lived every day for the last seven years with the physical and psychological wreckage you left behind. When I was fourteen years old, you took a scalpel to my healthy body and amputated my breasts. I didn’t have the capacity to understand the permanence of what you were doing to me." A heart rending read by Claire @burnyourbinder We are immensely grateful she chose to courageously share her vulnerability with us. genspect.org/an-open-letter-…

A Labour voter all my life (71 now) but I have never felt as ashamed of @UKLabour as I do now, watching MPs queue up to explain why they’re abandoning women, proving that they’re happy for my granddaughters to have fewer rights in future than I have had. Wretched cowards all.
I've joined more than 120 colleagues in signing this EDM to reject the EHRC Code of Practice. Trans people deserve love and equality. I’m worried these new rules won't achieve that. We need a proper debate in Parliament on them, and what they mean for our trans constituents.
Community note
The EHRC Code of Practice is legal guidance on single-sex spaces and services under the Equality Act. It does not provide guidance on 'love and equality'. Rejecting the guidance will not change the law. gov.uk/government/pub… equalityhumanrights.com/our-work/uk-su…

surreysussex.icb.nhs.uk/ipsi… We’re delighted that NHS England has finally stopped WellBN prescribing puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones to under 18’s after it was found that capacity to consent was only rarely confirmed and their care “fell far short of what could be considered safe or appropriate”. Evidence suggests that many of these children will grow up to be LGB. There’s nothing wrong with that. They don’t need to be drugged! We would now urge the Secretary of State for Health to move swiftly to shut down the unscrupulous private and online providers who will now have these vulnerable children in their sights.

Last ditch attempt by Chief Cons to humiliate female Police officers & staff. The job of protecting the public has been left to @SexMattersOrg @WomensRightsNet @WeAreFairCop Should a custody Sgt ask your mum, daughter or sister who serves, to strip search someone like Karen White? bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-le…
Female police officers should never be expected to search men who say they are women. We’re in court on 16th June, standing up for officers whose forces think unlawful searches can be allowed “by consent”. Will you support our legal challenge? sex-matters.org/take-action/…

Our judicial review against abusive police searching policies covered in @Telegraph. “Sex Matters argues that the guidance also contravenes PACE 1984, which says a strip search can only be carried out by someone of the same sex as the detained person.” telegraph.co.uk/news/2026/06…

The Public Sector Equality Duty means that public servants prioritise "anti-racism", instead of doing their jobs. We saw this with Valdo Calocane. We saw this in Henry Nowak's case. We saw it with the grooming gangs. Kemi is right. We must bring back equality before the law.
The Public Sector Equality Duty has allowed identity politics, DEI bureaucracy and ideological box-ticking to take over our public services. Enough is enough. It's time to scrap it.

🚨NEW: South Wales Police has just SCRAPPED their Islamic blasphemy law. No religion should be protected from criticism in this country. Now it's on the Government to repeal their Islamophobia definition and stop this happening again.
South Wales Police has instructed officers to log comments they feel are beyond "legitimate" criticism of Islam. This is, exactly as I warned, a blasphemy law through the back door. Nobody voted for this. My letter to the Chief Constable👇🏾

1/ I went to Parliament to watch the Women and Equalities Committee. The chair of the EHRC Mary-Ann Stephenson (MAS) and CEO John Kirkpatrick were giving evidence, the other adults in the room were Rosie Duffield and Rebecca Paul MP. Other than that it was the slow kid's table.

The rest of @michaelpforan's talks should go ahead. Freedom of speech is a fundamental academic freedom and it must be upheld. Equally, legitimate and lawful protest has an important place in university life. The task is to maintain both. Especially at events open to the public like this, it is an important Oxford tradition that any disagreement is expressed in a civil and respectful way.

This unqualified bore says his secondhand opinions are “not up for debate.” Yes they are. At a university all opinions are up for debate. If you cannot defend your opinions rationally, either they are indefensible or you are too stupid to defend them. In either case you have no right to force them on students who have expressed their wish to attend a lecture by doing so. thetimes.com/uk/education/ar…
