🕵️♀️📣🤖Through an #experiment on 2,000 entrepreneurs, we find that a #robot #tax leads to a significant decrease in the inclination of #entrepreneurs to reduce #workforce levels. An equal but negative robot tax, motivates entrepreneurs to downsize their workforce. @HankSantarelli

💵👵👴🇸🇪The #Swedish Parliament passed a #bill in 1998 to increase the pension #eligibility age from 60 to 61. We find that eligible cohorts (both men & #women) exit the #labourmarket at a later age compared to non-eligible cohorts at the 61-years cut-off.

According to #Sen (1985), the success of a society is to be measured by the freedoms that individuals in that society enjoy. The fact that regular #workers represent most of the working population in Europe should not make #selfemployed workers less worthy of such freedoms.
