the Albanian PM who waxes so enthusiastically about Jared ("Hunter") Kushner was a key figure in the indictment of Charles McGonigal in connection with his activities in regard to Albania. While McGonigal's connection with Deripaska have received the most attention, McGonigal's Albanian activities were arguably much more corrupt as they occurred while he was still at FBI and involved cash payments in the back of an automobile, whereas he had resigned from FBI prior to acting as a consultant for Deripaska.
Albania's PM Edi Rama on Jared Kushner: He's the son-in-law, by the way. Not the son in love. He is also the son in love, I guess. He deserves all the love — he's a great guy.

I just finished listening to a podcast in which two friends were talking about how everybody wins if the crisis in the Strait of Hormuz is wrapped up. I seem to stand alone, but I do not think that is necessarily in Iran's interest even if they are suffering. If I were in charge of Iran, I would try to make sure that the world suffers enough from this fiasco that after it resolves—it will—the world leaders agree that we can NEVER let that happen again. Iran wins if the next time somebody decides they are going to attack Iran—we all know there could be a next time—the world leaders yell in unison, "Stop!". Mitigating suffering from this skirmish increases the odds of the next skirmish being supported. It is a MAD (Mutually Assured Destruction) game theory model. I also think the Iranians are not a bunch of wimps. Both seem obvious to me, but what do I know. NB-The em dashes are mine—I love those little bastards—not AI's.

Israel does not recognize the idea of borders. Katz: “Israel will not withdraw from the security zones in Lebanon, Syria, and Gaza. The IDF will continue to defend our borders and our citizens from the peak of Mount Hermon, the mountains of Lebanon, the areas of our land in the Samaria region, and most of the territory of Gaza…”

from very early on, there was strong evidence that US had joint responsibility for COVID and that US officials needed to look into the mirror before throwing stones. It seems entirely possible that US officials knew more about the program at Wuhan that was being financed by DARPA/NIH than Beijing officials, notwithstanding all the hyperventilation by US senators against "CCP".
This doesn't sound right. Covid is a US-made recombinant bat vaccine? Fauci continued the DARPA rejected project? How does Joseph Murphy purport to know all these things? My guess is he's conflating stuff. If he isn't, this would be the smoking gun of all smoking guns.

Yes, there are US-funded biolabs in Ukraine. But if these four pages are all she managed to uncover, then this admin appears remarkably inept. Even the Russian presentations on US biolabs in Ukraine contained more information - including some of the very same pages Gabbard released today.
Today, I’m releasing never before seen intelligence revealing new evidence of past US government funding for more than 120 biolabs in over 30 countries, including Ukraine. In support of President Trump‘s Executive Order to end federal funding of dangerous gain of function research around the world, and increase transparency and accountability, ODNI will continue working with partners across the Administration to identify where these labs are, what pathogens they contain, and what “research” is being conducted. odni.gov/index.php/newsroom/…

I’m having a very hard time believing the Americans will make these concessions, and I have even less belief that if they do, they will honor them.
New details of a 14-point draft Iran–US memorandum: Immediate and permanent ceasefire on all fronts, including Lebanon. US commitment not to interfere in Iran’s internal affairs and to respect Iran’s sovereignty. Full lifting of the naval blockade within 30 days. US commitment to withdraw its forces from areas surrounding Iran. Reopening of the Strait of Hormuz within 30 days under Iranian arrangements. Suspension of sanctions on Iranian oil, petrochemicals, and related exports, with full access to the resulting revenues. US and its allies to provide reconstruction plans for Iran worth at least $300 billion. A 60-day negotiation period to reach a final agreement on nuclear issues and the complete removal of US primary and secondary sanctions, as well as related UN Security Council and IAEA measures. Iran reaffirms its NPT commitment not to develop nuclear weapons. During negotiations, the US will not deploy additional forces to the region or impose new sanctions. Release of $24 billion in frozen Iranian assets during the 60-day negotiation period, with half made available before talks begin. Establishment of a monitoring mechanism to oversee implementation of the agreement. The final agreement will be endorsed by a UN Security Council resolution. Final negotiations will begin only after the release of half of Iran’s frozen assets, suspension of oil sanctions, and lifting of the naval blockade. The final deal will focus solely on uranium enrichment, enriched material, sanctions relief, and Iran’s economic reconstruction. Iran’s missile program and support for resistance groups are excluded from the agenda. Source: Mehr

This theory seems plausible: that the Iranian strikes last night were more damaging than presently assumed. Thus, the quick reversal. But it's all quite bizarre.
‼️ My interpretation: Iran delivered multiple severely damaging strikes last night against US bases in the region. Trump's initial impulse was to escalate even further ... but the Pentagon refused because they are afraid. And therefore Trump had to concoct a new TACO lie.

So US/Trump is considering deploying its AlQaeda puppet in Syria to support Israel's occupation and invasion of southern Lebanon.
🇺🇸🇸🇾 Trump has invited Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa to the White House on June 14, per a diplomatic source to AFP. Just last week Trump told NBC he wants "a more surgical attack on Hezbollah" in Lebanon and floated Damascus as the one to do it: "we can help them with that, or we can recommend Syria. Syria's doing a very good job of cleaning up their act." So the al-Qaeda commander turned president gets a second White House visit while Washington shops him as a proxy against Hezbollah next door. June 14 also happens to be Trump's 80th birthday, which he's celebrating with a cage fight on the White House lawn. Sharaa hasn't confirmed he's going.

The best way to anticipate the future is to find out what Benjamin Netanyahu wants and then assume it's just a matter of time before Trump does it. Hard to go wrong with that method. I can't think of a time when it would have failed.

All we did was send our military to the other side of the world, bombed Iran's bridges and elementary schools, then imposed a military blockade to crush their economy and population. Then, out of nowhere, these deranged monsters shoot one of our peaceful liberatory helicopters. These people only understand force! They're like from the 8th century.

"self-defense"? c'mon.
U.S. Central Command forces began launching additional self-defense strikes today at 5:15 p.m. ET against multiple targets in Iran at the Commander in Chief’s direction. The strikes are in response to Iran’s unwarranted and continued aggression.

enriched uranium has density of about 19.1 g/cm^3. It's very very dense - about 1.7 denser than lead. 441 kg of enriched uranium would have a volume of about 23,200 cm^3 - equivalent to a cube with side of about 28.5 cm (11.2 inches). Seems like it would be hard to find without help.

from my reading of recent reporting, it looks to me like the Apache helicopter collided with an Iranian drone in a high traffic zone and that there is no evidence that the US helicopter was "shot down" by Iran. Grok also reported a comment from a technical forum of the possibility that this was an "own goal" involving pilot error by the Apache. Either way, this seems all too familiar as the sort of US escalation based on false/misleading intelligence that has been going on for decades. But the incident served Netanyahu's purpose while Trump was able to claim that it was his own idea.

Another drone lodged into an anti-pollution barrier in Romania just yards away from causing a massive ammonium nitrate explosion. That’s two major near misses in a week. Sea drones, air drones, underwater drones, aren’t drones fun?!?! Brave New War
A drone lodged into the cockpit of the AH-64 between the two crew, but didn’t detonate, and they then had to land the helicopter in the sea while it was on fire and the drone could’ve exploded at any minute, the president tells Fox this morning. Yesterday, he told the WSJ it “wasn’t a big deal.” wsj.com/world/middle-east/ap…

question: I'm seeing posts saying that it isn't possible to aim a Shahed drone at an Apache helicopter. If so, what's going on?
Midair collision (lack of situational awareness by Apache pilot) w drone led to unjustified US escalation.

aren't attacks on water supply a war crime? Why is Trump bombing water reservoirs in Iran?
The U.S. attacked two water reservoirs in Iran, depriving tens of thousands of people of drinking water
