Dear Durango,
Two years ago you gave my family and I an opportunity to help lead a program that has seen great success. You brought my Journee girl into this world, gave the boys a chance to put football pads on for the first time and Jaycee’s first school. These last two years we’ve continued to build upon that success with incredible young men. While we’ve accomplished a lot, 2 RMAC tournaments, 5 top 25 wins, 6 all conference players over the last two years, a defensive player of the year, an RMAC steals record broken, and too many defensive player of the week winners to count, our off the floor success has been just as accomplished. We’ve set a new high in team GPA, sent 3 players back to the division 1 level, seen players get married, and impacted the community for the better. My time in Durango will always be apart of me on this coaching journey and I am so grateful to our players who allowed themselves to be coached by me. As with anything it is not the place that makes it special, it’s the people who you surround yourself with that truly hold the greatest impact. While my time in Durango has come to a close, the future is bright for these next steps and I am excited to navigate what is next in store!
Thank you Durango!
