99% of HS football players train speed wrong.
ladder drills dont build speed. 110s and gassers dont build speed. maxing squats doesnt build speed.
speed is a skill. train it like one.
→ 2 sprint days per week at 100% effort
→ flying 10s and 20s with full recovery
→ resisted sprints
→ single leg bounds broad jumps
→ 20 min per week on sprint mechanics
12 weeks of this drops your 40 by 0.2-0.3 seconds.
its not magic. its the right inputs.
