PASSED: Farm, Food, and National Security Act of 2026.
This Farm Bill was not written in the halls of Congress, but in the fields and rural communities across our great nation. Every provision is a direct reflection of what we learned during each of the more than 150 listening sessions the Agriculture Committee held.
The 2026 Farm Bill is a win for our farmers, ranchers, foresters, rural communities, and all Americans across our country.

The No Aid for Ghost Students Act of 2026, which includes my Student Aid and Oversight Accountability Act passed out of the House of Representatives this afternoon.
Preventing criminals from stealing taxpayer funds intended for real, deserving students is a critical step toward bringing integrity back to our federal student aid system. Our students, and all Americans, deserve stronger safeguards and better accountability.

Today, I spoke on the House Floor about the Pennsylvania Special Olympics. Since 1970, this incredible event has brought together thousands of athletes and supporters for a weekend of camaraderie and healthy competition. Today, my amendment to fund Grants for Youth Organizations passed the House. This will provide $2 million in grants for National FFA, 4-H Council, Scouting America, and Girls Scouts of the United States to expand their programs in rural areas. These organizations impact millions of children across all 50 states, expanding youth development, leadership, education, and agricultural programs for our youth in rural communities.

For 80 years, the USDA National School Lunch Program has helped millions of children grow and thrive in the classroom. Since 1946, the program has fueled students with nutritious meals, and nothing tastes better than a cold glass of whole milk during the school day!

I am proud to introduce the Mass Timber Federal Buildings Act, legislation that supports our nation's timber industry, expands markets, and strengthens mills across the country.
