Life of a businessman
12 days ago, I left for Mombasa to engage some leaders about some ideas in my head that time.
After 3 nights I left for Malindi by car for 2 nights specifically to attend essence of Africa expo.
I also had a speaking engagement at the same meeting which really went well from the feedback.
My role was to discuss Intra tourism and its future and Ofcourse put some advert for Uganda and Rwanda.
Then flew to Nairobi on Wednesday night last week for presentations on
@RwenzoriMarathn and something new which I think went so well.
Those travels are on many occasions test you as person, you miss your family, the food you are generally used but nothing just happens.
On Friday night, I leave for entebbe, arriving home 1am of Saturday , woke up early to take my son for his football training at Olympia, 4hrs of sleep.
On Friday my son says dad, I know you will be so tired, why don’t you find someone to take me.
Told him, while I appreciate your concern, I will take you for your game and that’s my responsibility when am around. I leave entebbe and Jinja for a days work.
Sunday the 12th, we leave for Murchison falls national park, my son wanted a proper guided tour not the usual ones dad takes him for.
Very great time with my youngest son, deep discussions about life, tourism and general business.
Funny but we booked a safari with
@SafarisUganda and paid for it, Ofcourse I got complimentary accommodation and boat experience. I don’t even have to ask.
Murchison river lodge gave us free or complimentary accommodation and Wildfrontier gave us from boat experience .
I then I realized my body needed this rest and took advantage of the lack of internet and network generally.
Sometimes I wish it was easier but I know better, it’s never easy especially if your responsibility is to break the chain of poverty like me.
I can’t think and act like those that don’t have that responsibility. I have to pay the price for it.
