The fact that we need to constantly take so many enjoyable and/or productive hours out of our day to rest and/or sleep will never not be a source of immense frustration for me. I was on a roll!

Name a team that should have kept its core together.

No I can't.
You don’t actually have to be good at your hobbies. You can just enjoy them and be bad at them.

I am constitutionally incapable of enjoying doing anything I am not good at.

This is pretty much what everyone who's watched 2001 has said since it first premiered.
I would hate to see any of these people watch 2001: A Space Odyssey. “WHAT IS THE BLACK CUBE THEY NEVER EXPLAIN IT” “WHY IS HE FLYING THROUGH A BUNCH OF COLORS WHY IS THERE A BABY”

I was told today by a 17-year-old that there was no way people were writing 10 page papers without Al. Dude, I was writing 10 page papers without having read the book.

"She’s beautiful without believing that gives her permission to be uninteresting" is such a great line.
Ethan Hawke praises his ‘FIRST REFORMED’ co-star Amanda Seyfried: “There’s something old-school about her. She’s smart and not pretentious – it’s a great combination. She’s beautiful without believing that gives her permission to be uninteresting.” (Source: gq-magazine.co.uk/article/am…)

MLB was *this* close to making a *really* nice looking 4th of July cap, but they included that extraneous and intrusive piping above the brim.
How do you feel about the MLB USA 250 edition hats?

their second mistake was being maybe the most soulless corporate franchise in the NBA. boring colors, boring logo, nothing unique or interesting. basically lost 3/4 of their NJ fanbase when they moved too

The Brooklyn nets are not a sports team, they are a real estate play. The developers wanted a stadium, but needed any club. The nets are that club. They are an anchor like macys to a dead mall
Correct and before yall mention the Nets their first flaw was naming themselves the Brooklyn nets instead of the New York nets. Yes they in Brooklyn but you still in New York. Look at the Yankees and Mets. They don’t called themselves the Bronx Yankees or Queens Mets.

DISCLOSURE DAY: The thing about a Steven Spielberg movie is that, even if some of it doesn't work, it's still a Steven Spielberg movie, which means there'll be at least a dozen shots where the camera glides into the perfect place in a scene and you understand why cinema exists.

She was born in 1996, so imagine how much worse this is gonna get with actors raised entirely on streaming. An entire generation that has only watched things curated to their existing taste, never stumbled across THE ROCK on TNT on a Saturday afternoon.

Timothée Chalamet reveals how he became a Knicks fan “I was 12 or 13 years old, I booked a Disney commercial because I was a child actor so I made a couple thousand and I bought the cheapest season tickets I could find thinking LeBron was coming to the Knicks” “I thought okay I’m going to flip these for double or three times then he didn’t come but Amar’e came so I was basically able to sell them at face value” “I grew up on 43rd and 9th so I’d run down to the Garden. I would scalp to the scalpers and they were $25 a ticket but I would go to as many games as possible and my grandma was a huge Knicks fan so that’s what turned me on to them” “If you’re a Nets fan, you should be on like a list or something. There’s something wrong with you”

Dude, I can go to Target right now and get halfway decent deli sliced cheddar, muenster, provolone, mozzarella, swiss, or pepper jack right now for $2 a package.
It's impossible to explain to a Yank what Cheddar cheese is like. Their only reference point is liquidised knob cheese in a spray can. We should be mindful of their limitations.

It could have been worse. In the novel he's 5 feet tall.
The Goldfinger song is so funny in terms of the expectations it sets for the character. You’d think he’s hot fuck action to rival even Bond, at least his physical match as well, and then it’s this guy.
