It lets the government search Americansโ communications without a warrant.
Add a warrant requirement as the Fourth Amendment demandsโor leave it expired forever.

The chairman of the party should not be insulting the intelligence of Republican voters. A debate was promised and these ridiculous criteria are being used to renege on that promise and to engineer a preferred outcome.
Why not just take 90 minutes, find a tv partner, and let the candidates mix it up?
The only reason why you wouldnโt is if the party hierarchy is serving outside interests instead of the best interests of the voters.

Last night, only 19 Rs voted down reauthorization without a warrant.

There are so many things to criticize Democrats over, but here you are slamming them for blocking unconstitutional spying on Americans. You absolutely suck at this.
As millions of Americans gather for large events and summer celebrations, Democrats just BLOCKED the FISA Section 702 national security statute, hampering our ability to detect foreign terrorist threats.
This comes after Democrats shut down Homeland Security.
This is a stunning and dangerous fact: Democrats are now willing to put petty politics over public safety.
