Sat through
@ViralMindAI 2nd AMA. Desktop application just dropped, and the team is collecting feedback and suggestions from early users. What strikes me as interesting is the following:
i) The team is fixing the bottleneck of "data" in the industry. They are collecting human action produced data, which is incredibly valuable (vs. text-based, etc.). Once
$VIRAL aggregates enough skills/data, the platform can compete with existing AI solutions out in the market like Manus (which is an aggregation of existing AI tools). The data set is growing in real time, so the more people that do tasks, the better the data becomes, and the better agents/products can become.
ii)
$VIRAL also has the ability to work alongside both existing and new AI tools that come out; i.e. other products can load
$VIRAL data and/or use
$VIRAL data to fine-tune their computer-agents down the road.
iii) With all the data on the platform, they will launch their VM-1 agent as well. Libraries are ready for processing data into training data, and no-code datasets and training are next on the docket.
iv) GTM takes a playbook out of Axie's play-to-earn. This is train-to-earn, and the team plans to scale in emerging economies like Southeast Asia. Seems like there are existing investors willing to help with this plan.
v) Revenue will come from set up fees, funding pools in
$VIRAL, commission on agent sales, software infra fees, and API fees from master/super agent. Details on this can be found in their docs:
docs.viralmind.ai/
vi) Early traction has been positive. Since desktop launch (earlier this week), there have been 102 registered users. Browser stats are multitudes higher.
vii) Business doesn't seem that easy to replicate. This is a highly specialized field that requires specific talent which the team has. The team is also open-sourcing the data set, not the tech itself. Another anecdote: dev
@ddupont808 has shared this with his research peers and they have been "blown away".
viii) The team is incredibly transparent and connected to the community. Since launch, they have been heads down fixing bugs, with real-time feedback to the community. They even launched a dashboard so people can keep track:
simple-salary-cab.notion.sitβ¦
ix) Team has an exciting couple of weeks ahead of them. In addition to product development and overall growth, they are meeting with investors and community members. They are in talks with VCs, have applied to
@ycombinator as well as
@Delphi_Digital 's dAGI accelerator.
x) Bullish. Full disclosure - I do hold
$VIRAL.
