The best innovations in ag don't start with a product, a platform or a shiny new tool. They start with a challenge growers face every day. If we look at innovation this way, it creates value, not more complexity. Hear our takes on ag innovation: youtu.be/WKH6i9gY2y8

Purple leaf sheath is an abiotic disorder that affects the leaf sheath in corn. Symptoms can be confused with other diseases typical of stalk rot. In this case (AL), no pathogens were isolated from symptomatic plants. The disorder does not impact yield @CropNetwork @corndisease

Some early stages of Physoderma getting started. Not a simple one to diagnose with just the leaf lesions. Look for the midrib lesions that are the more characteristic brown coloration #mscrops

Love this, and love the information @ICiampitti brings us. I learned a lot from this one! That’s a good day for this plant nerd 😂
Technology can calculate nitrogen dilution in seconds. But if you don't understand what goes into that equation, how can you improve it? @iciampitti breaks down why knowing the science behind the numbers matters, even as ag tech advances. Find out: youtu.be/WKH6i9gY2y8

We get asked “what is the value of strip tillage?” I’ll show this to answer that question. Left row is No Tillage with broadcast of 80# P2O5 60# K2O. Right row is Shank Strip Till without P/K. Cooler soils this spring in ECIL limited S availability, as shown in the no-till row.

1st kudzu bug of 2026, an invasive insect that feeds on legumes like soybeans & kudzu, causing crop damage & becoming a pest by swarming homes (and my shirts). It's an olive-green, pea-sized bug that releases a foul odor when disturbed & can stain surfaces #Insects @CropNetwork
