If thereβs an issue with what Caballero is doing, show me in the rulebook where. As long as heβs engaged with the pitcher with at least 8 seconds on the clock, then heβs not doing anything wrong and the umpires are completely out of line here.
If the league has an issue with what Caballero is doing, they should rewrite the rulebook to stop it. Until then, everyone should stop whining.
All heβs doing is trying to use the rules to his advantage. Nothing wrong with that.
