The people who start the wars don’t fight them, the people who spend the taxes don’t pay them, and the people who forgive the criminals don’t live next to them. Of course we’re going to have too many wars, too much spending, and too much crime.

It’s amazing that our government will tell you with a straight face that they can’t stop a regional fire, but if you just pay more in taxes, they can change the entire global climate. It’s even more amazing that anyone believes them.

This is one of the best explanations on inflation by a politician that I’ve ever heard. This is Pierre Poilievre. He is expected to be Canada’s next prime minister. He is also pro Bitcoin. We are winning.

CNN claims that Kamala Harris told only 1 "false claim" in all of last night's debate. What a joke. Even a casually observant person could easily flag a bunch throughout the night. -Kamala called it a "lie" that she supports mandatory confiscation of firearms. But in 2019, Kamala said she wanted a mandatory buyback of all "assault weapons." bloomberg.com/news/articles/… -Kamala said that nowhere in America is abortion happening up until birth. But at this very moment, abortion is legal through all nine months of pregnancy in New Mexico, Minnesota, Oregon, Colorado, Vermont, New Jersey, Alaska, and Washington D.C. Tim Walz signed a bill removing any requirement to provide lifesaving care to children born in a botched abortion. axios.com/2024/04/11/abortio… -Kamala said that Trump's policy is to ban IVF, when Trump has directly intervened to protect IVF and is campaigning to expand access to it. npr.org/2024/08/30/nx-s1-509… -Kamala said Trump referred to neo-Nazis as "very fine people." This is a thoroughly-debunked lie. Kamala just repeats it because hacks like ABC let her get away with it. snopes.com/fact-check/trump-… -Kamala claimed that Trump threatened a literal "bloodbath" if he wasn't elected. This is a total lie — Trump said that there'd be a bloodbath in the AUTO INDUSTRY if Joe Biden won reelection. Apparently, CNN doesn't consider this a "false claim." factcheck.org/2024/03/trumps… -Kamala said Trump planned to levy a "20% tax" on everyday goods. This is a total fabrication. -Kamala said she made it "very clear" all the way back during the 2020 election that she supports fracking and doesn't want to ban it. But in the 2020 primaries, on live TV, Harris said verbatim "There’s no question I’m in favor of banning fracking." nbcchicago.com/news/local/fr… -Kamala described Project 2025 as the "detailed and dangerous plan" that Trump will implement if elected. Setting aside that this contradicts Kamala's own claim just minutes before that Trump has "no plan," the reality is that Project 2025 was created by other people and Trump has no involvement with it. Trump's actual plan is called Agenda47, and you can learn more about it right on Trump's website: donaldjtrump.com/agenda47 -Kamala claims that police officers were murdered on January 6. Exactly zero Capitol police officers died on January 6 or from injuries they suffered that day. Accordig to a medical examiner, Officer Brian Sicknick died of natural causes and had suffered no injuries. npr.org/2021/04/19/988876722… I'm not a reporter, and I found all of this easily. What's CNN's problem?

One piece of advice for young people starting a family. Don’t go seeking the “big house”. And don’t view the primary home as an investment, as you’re told it is. Buy something modest and affordable, and make do. Reduce the stress of repayments and plow ALL that extra cash into your investment journey. You’ll have to make do with the smaller house compared to your friends. You won’t have the flex. But within a decade, you’ll be compounding at an accelerating rate. And your options will be plentiful. While your friends look for a bigger McMansion to flex, they will be buried deep into house and living paycheck to paycheck. This is important because early on housing is such a large monthly nut. It all but consumes your investable ability, at a time when the earlier you start meaningfully investing the far better off you will be. Yes, I know that requires a little sacrifice and looking “long term”, something many are adverse to doing. But that time comes around, and have options and flexibility when you’re older and wiser is far more powerful.

800 Billion Euros. That was the size of the biggest money laundering scandal in history. All done through a single Estonian branch of Danske bank. How many of the bankers were sent to prison for the scandal? Zero. HSBC was for years the "preferred financial institution" for drug cartels. Billions of elicit funds flowed through the bank. Anyone go to prison? Nope. Deutsche Bank was warned for years about their tardy AML procedures. They ignored many of these warnings until being fined. Did the CEO do any time? You know the answer. So, tell me... Why did CZ still get any time to begin with? 🤔

I view investing and wealth building like building a beautiful garden. Takes time. Always be planting, always be pruning. Some things are beautiful and short-lived, some take decades, all have a place in the garden. Always be planting for the future. It comes quickly.

Early in my career, I consulted for opioid companies like Purdue and Pfizer. The objective was simple: ensure widespread use of the drugs. The first step in the playbook was to destroy the credibility of anyone who questioned them. To label them as "health misinformation."

It saddens me to see Andrew Huberman's Wikipedia page attacked in a politically-motivated way to remove most of his scientific accomplishments and to add misleading statements like: "Huberman appeared on programs that frequently platform health misinformation". This is a dishonest misrepresentation of a legit scientist and one of the best communicators of science in the world. @hubermanlab deserves to be celebrated not slandered. He is a truly special human being, who is doing an invaluable service for the world.

Just had a nice message from a Vegan. “I love your work. I just want to add that you might appeal to Vegans by mentioning that animals need not ever be killed and eaten, just allowed to breed naturally growing their population to further heal the Earth.” Unfortunately, Nature is not humane which is a human concept. Every animal in nature dies if you leave it as suggested. Almost none die peacefully in their sleep. They die from starvation, disease, or accident none of which are humane deaths, and if lucky die more humanely in the gentle jaws of a crocodile, lion, hyena or wolf. None of these are as humane as the quick death most farmers and pastoralists ensure after years of raising animals humanely that they love. The inhumane treatment Vegans need to be fighting is not that of ranchers, farmers and pastoralists but corporations producing food in factory settings of great cruelty to animals throughout most of their lives. Do good by fighting corporate agriculture with one aim – profit for shareholders, and the universities producing ecologically illiterate experts advising government policies supporting the most destructive and inhumane corporate agriculture ever in history. Not only is it inhumane to livestock now, but it is going to cause human suffering and violence greater than the world has ever known if it continues.

Ultimately, the reason I find #Bitcoin to be so fascinating is simple: If the experiment is succesful, it undermines the parasitic practice of unbacked credit creation & usury; tools used to completely control the populace & siphon the fruits of their labor in perpetuity.
