Do @TheNewsAgents episodes sometimes "jump" / have playout ordering issues? I listen on an Echo Show on Amazon Music and I frequently hear a random cut or two and sections repeated.

It is a catastrophe Edwina! While there are steps people can take to help themselves (I explain them in todays email mse.me/latesttip) Energy bills by Jan will cost on avg over half the full state pension & bigger proportion of basic UC. No sensible steps cover that!

I would like you, Martin, to stop using words like “catastrophe,” and instead advise people take sensible steps to reduce the effect on their families and businesses. And stop pretending that governments can do everything. They can’t.

Hearing on @bbc5live how a Ukrainian woman and her 8-year-old daughter slept rough for 4 days and nights in freezing temperatures to cross the Polish border, only to be refused entry to the UK at Calais. Compassion is not complex.

Holy shit. “Using over 70,000 segment commands defining logical bit operations, they define a small computer architecture with features such as registers and a full 64-bit adder and comparator which they use to search memory and perform arithmetic operations.“

Tl;dr the NSO zero-click iMessage exploit leveraged an obscure 90s image compression codec in a FOSS decoder used by Apple to run arbitrary AND/OR/XOR/XNOR logic and bootstrap their own *microarchitecture* to achieve the exploit... Absolutely stunning. googleprojectzero.blogspot.c…

It is simultaneously wonderful that @DPDgroup_news are using electric vans and really not good that they are hogging free to use public chargers. @Savills who run this site need to have a discreet word. Surely there is a depot where these brilliant vans can be charged?
Fellow EV drivers I'm asking for your support to let DPD know that it's unacceptable for their drivers 2 block public charging points. For the past 4 months DPD eNV200 vans have been left overnight & weekends at @Pod_Point chargers in Reading. @zap_map @ivebeeniced Pls RT

No. Not again. After 10 yrs serving in the British army, including Iraq & Afghanistan, Taitusi Ratucaucau has just been billed £27k by the NHS for an emergency operation to remove a brain tumour. This is grotesque @pritipatel @ukhomeoffice. Fix it now. theguardian.com/uk-news/2020…

Here’s a game of spot the difference. 1) @dailymail ‘s pic of me & my dad 2) the actual picture. Socially distant, no physical contact & was bringing them food. Been a long month of no contact, my mum worked for the NHS her whole career so she was ruthless about distance. Thanks

Now we're going virtual, does anyone further afield fancy speaking at our group? Seems like a good opportunity to get some speakers who wouldn't normally be able to speak?
