In case anyone was looking for me, I’m spending most of my time over on Mastodon. It’s really much nicer over there. You can find me at: @DazeEnd@mastodon.cloud
Hope to see you there! 👋
I’m looking to hire a freelance consultant to advise me on someWordPress server tuning. Platform is WordPress & Apache running on RHEL/AlmaLinux. If you know a good person you can recommend, please let me know.
Hey @LastPass: The LastPass feature that auto-changes a password only seems to work on “weak” passwords. Since you got hacked, any chance you can make that feature work on all passwords, or at least mark all current passwords as weak? I’ve got hundreds of passwords to change.
Anyone have a suggestion for a company that can replace @Rackspace as my IMAP reseller partner? Support is a key concern, but cost is also a factor. I’d love to use @Fastmail, but their reseller pricing isn’t competitive. Looking at Enom and OpenSRS. #Rackspace#RackspaceOutage
Thank you everyone who helped by testing that loading spinner for me. Reports indicate that—
iOS 15: spinner works
16.0: doesn’t work
16.1: doesn’t work
16.2 beta: works
I’m going to chalk this up to a bug in WebKit/Safari. Hopefully it will be fixed in the iOS 16.2 release.
Since this place seems to be melting down before our eyes, you may be considering joining Mastodon. If you do, I encourage you to add your new Mastodon username to your Twitter bio. This will help your Twitter friends find and follow you on Mastodon using automated tools.
iOS/Safari/CSS: I’m making a spinner using CSS animation & keyframes that displays when an HTML form is submitted. In iOS Safari, spinner works great if I just display it. But if I start with it hidden (display: none), & display it on form submission, it won’t animate. Any ideas?

The million dollar question: anyone know when you transfer an app in Google Play, do existing users with subscriptions still work? And they’ll still auto-renew as expected when the time comes?
