There’s a story out this morning from the Canadian Press that made me rise an eyebrow as it goes against everything we know from law enforcement and the data. 🚨UNBELIEVABLE! Retired RCMP officers were lured into a CBC program under false pretenses, then mocked for their service to Canada. I brought forward a motion to investigate and hold the CBC accountable. The Liberals shut down debate. No answers. No accountability. Shameful.

Shameful! I called for an investigation into CBC’s prank on retired RCMP officers and other Canadians. The Liberals shut down debate immediately. Veterans want answers. The Liberals want silence. Transparency shouldn’t be this threatening.

I’ve been watching British Columbia politics since 1972, and I have never seen the level of panic I’m seeing right now from the NDP/Liberal establishment. They are throwing everything, including the kitchen sink, at anyone connected to the rebuilding of a serious conservative movement in this province. Charges announced against Jordan Kealy. Charges announced against Amelia Boultbee. Constant attempts to tie Kerry-Lynne Findlay’s leadership to Trump. Coordinated attacks from every predictable corner. I’ve seen dirty politics before. I’ve seen desperation before. But I have not seen this level of institutional panic in more than 50 years. So the question is simple: What do they know that we don’t? What is happening behind the curtain that has them this rattled? Because the scale of the reaction feels wildly disproportionate to the public threat they claim to see. I am outraged by the B.C. Review Board’s slippery slope normalization of someone who killed their children. A conditional discharge is not a minor administrative step. It is part of a process that moves him closer to greater freedom. This is an individual who since incarcerated has had incidents of verbal aggression and threatening behaviour toward staff and in a previous hearing said the public should “lighten up”. This is also an individual who successfully changed his legal name. Promised reviews and reforms of the BC Review Board have amounted to not a damn thing. The status quo remains and victims and the public suffer as a result.

This is the best.

The West has created an utterly evil state religion where an accusation of “racism” is the gravest offense that can be committed, even worse than rape or murder! So if police show up at a crime scene and a British boy is bleeding out and an immigrant says the British boy is racist the cops will cuff the dying British boy.

I shouldn't be giving this attention-seeking crank the attention she seeks so I won't refute the several massive errors in this single tweet of hers, but no, I've never focussed on that one small (!) error for any purpose, but rather on the cascade of incitements and errors that began with the false reports of a mass grave at Kamloops. I just wish people would stop weaponizing the pain from the residential school era to promote QAnon theories comparing residential schools to Auschwitz and Treblinka.

The number of Canadians that have no idea about our parliamentary system and the role of His Majesty's Most Loyal Opposition is a scathing indictment of our education system. It's literally to criticise the policies and actions of government with a view to debate. Fucking morons

I'm prepared to go to jail over this. My grandmother Rita Pete went to St. Mary's Indian Residential School. She experienced terrible abuse. As a consequence, she struggled with alcohol use most of her life. My mother was born with FASD as a consequence of her using alcohol to cope with her trauma. I am Chief of my community Chawathil First Nation. I am working to address the longstanding impacts of these past policies through renovating homes, building new homes, creating childcare, and growing businesses through economic development. I have interviewed people who went to Indian Residential Schools. I have interviewed people who believe Indian Residential Schools were awful, horrible schools, meant to remove the Indian from the child. I've also interviewed people who believe they were well intended, generous investments by Canadian taxpayers meant to assimilate a society and had shortcomings. Like with many things, the history is dark, complicated, and with any policy that existed for a long time, across a whole country - there were different experiences. No one story tells us everything. No report shares the full experience of the individuals who went. No commentator today can disprove someone's lived experience with statistics. The path forward is not to criminalize speech, questions, or debate. The path forward is empathy for past attendees. The path forward is truth based on facts. The path forward is real conversations. The path forward is to lean into complexity. If the government criminalizes this, then I will be a criminal for having these conversations. If I am a criminal by the laws definition, then I am committed to going to jail over this.

It will likely take 10 or 20 years for Canada to recover economically from the breathtaking stupidity of Guilbeault & Trudeau Let's hope we never forget or forgive their betrayal of their Country on the alter of Climate Insanity

Your tax dollars were used by the CBC to target, harass, and humiliate retired RCMP officers. This is a new low. The CBC must answer how this was allowed to happen, and apologize to the retired officers they involved.

Correct me if I'm wrong — seriously, I wasn't paying attention — but isn't a Conservative MP now owed an apology? I'm pretty sure this was called and then strong denied like a week ago.

No. No. No. No. No. A state broadcaster funded by Canadians should not be producing one-sided hit pieces or pseudo-documentaries designed to vilify citizens and shape political narratives. Ottawa has no idea if its gun grab will make Canadians safer. The CTF asked Public Safety for “all analysis from the department on the efficacy of the assault style firearms compensation program and its effect on crime rates/public safety.” The department advised that “no information related to your request exists.” The feds should scrap this program instead of wasting potentially billions on something that won't work. taxpayer.com/newsroom/ottawa…
