Senate Bill 37 passed the NM Senate unanimously—now it needs YOUR help to cross the finish line. The bill is on the schedule in the House today. This bill ensures schools use proven reading instruction based on the science of reading. It screens kids K-3 for reading struggles and requires that parents get a progress report within 30 days if their child needs additional help.
