I don’t think this antisemite heard your boss’ speech. Maybe send it to him?
I am deeply appreciative of the work by @FederationCJA and Westmount security and the @SPVM leading to the quick arrest of the suspect at the Temple this morning. The person responsible for this reprehensible act must be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. 1/2

@MarkJCarney in one fell swoop admitted that jews were being driven off of university campuses and then appointed the encampment lawyer to figure it all out.
As we face a horrifying rise in hate, the new Council will help bring communities together and confront racism & hatred across Canada. Every Canadian — including Jewish Canadians — deserves to live in safety, dignity, and free from fear in our country. ➡️

Carney has unveiled a new council to combat antisemitism in Canada. The lineup includes a former Liberal minister who is a Muslim, a DEI executive who is also Muslim, a progressive lawyer interested in social justice issues who represented pro-Palestinian encampment activists, an LGBT activist, and an Olympic speed skater. Only one member is Jewish: Senator Marc Gold, has a long public record in Jewish communal and pro-Israel advocacy. Seems like expertise in antisemitism was considered optional. If the goal was to reassure Jewish Canadians, this is a bizarre way to go about it. pm.gc.ca/en/news/news-releas…

In speech, @MarkJCarney cites "drove Jewish students from common spaces on our university campuses" as an example of antisemitism. Help me understand why he appointed the lawyer who filed a Charter challenge against @UAlberta for removing its encampment msn.com/en-ca/news/canada/ch…

It’s official. We are truly on our own. Even the council that is supposed to save us hates us.

Posters torn down for a missing 14 yr old Jewish girl in North York in one of the most Jewish neighborhoods in Canada & reportedly happened across the city of Toronto. Reminiscent of the disrespect of the Hostage Posters. The same exact Jew hate. Be ashamed, 🇨🇦 Canada

You are 100 % correct Jesse. Anti-antisemitism is out of control. It’s sickening and inexcusable. Canadians need to speak out and urge our leaders to act. This is a Canada problem, not a Jewish problem.
Antisemitism has gotten out of control in Canada. There are no excuses for it. Out of control.

Tonight on the 2nd night of Passover my husband will stand outside his synagogue in a stab vest. He’s the first line of defence. Today I visited a church and they left the door open. I remarked how strange that was but it was perfectly normal for them. I wish it was for Jews too.

Reminder that @avilewis, leader of the Federal NDP, believes antisemitism is just a "narrative" forced by the "Israel lobby" and that Jews are "cartoonish narcissists," "perpetrators," "supremacists" and "crybullies" who "urgently" must be made uncomfortable.

An attack on our Jewish community seems inevitable but our reckless, slack and foolish city leaders scold the city’s police chief for going to Israel to learn about handling such hateful attacks? This is unhappy Canada, 2026

Canada’s Jewish community has contributed immeasurably to this country’s intellectual, cultural, and civic life, and a Canada that cannot protect one of its communities from targeted hatred and violence is a Canada that has failed its own foundational promise. If we are serious about building a nation worthy of leading in this century, we must be equally serious about defending every community that makes this country what it is. Allowing antisemitism to take root unchallenged does not only threaten Jewish Canadians, it corrodes the institutional trust, pluralism, and social cohesion that are Canada’s greatest long-term strengths.

Dumb question- if police admit they are antisemitic doesn’t that make the illegal?
