Call it “soft as fuck” if you want but one thing the World Cup always seems to do, almost as soon as it begins, is remind you that you’ll likely enjoy your life a LOT more if you welcome people in and try to have a laugh rather than being consistently aggy.

Some performance from #Scotland that, they’ll top that group IMO, at the very least finish top 2. As an #England fan, I envy how much home nation fans look forward to group stage games. We just expect to win, supporting England. Fair play to them. #FIFAWorldCup

I must confess to being a bit emotional this morning at the news of a knighthood for Kevin Sinfield. I’ve always called him ‘Sir Kev’ and it’s hard to think of a man more deserving. He showed us all what it is to be a friend.
