Very early start to catch the night shift from @EPControlRoom for cuddles before they left & meet the early team. @PBaloo & I got to meet the wonderful lady who was amazing when she helped coordinate our rescue from a live lane of the A12 in august. Very emotional, she saved us๐ฅน

Today weโve seen hares / deer pursued & ripped apart, farmers crops destroyed beyond use, land owners gates rammed, dangerous driving, & a family having abuse shouted at them by grown males ๐คฏ
We caught most, but unfortunately not all - 10x males detained & processed, 2x vehicles seized, & dogs in kennels ๐

Officers & staff in the CCC have again been donating to this years 'Christmas Paws'.
This is where through donations and fundraising we have managed to send out a number of boxes of food, blankets, toys and treats to animals in local shelters and also to local charities.

We continue to deal with vehicle crime as a priority in Essex Police.
Yesterday we worked with @Tracker_UK to locate a stolen vehicle in #Blackmore. When officers sighted the vehicle it made off at speed before crashing on a bend and the occupant making off on foot.

With help from @NPASSouthEast the occupant was tracked and arrested under suspicion of a number of offences and remains in custody.

Our colleagues from @SuffolkPolice made us aware of a vehicle involved in a robbery that was believed to be heading towards #Essex.
Staff from our Control Centre completed checks and managed to locate the vehicle and deploy @EPRoadsPolicing officers to its location.

On 15 August 2019, PC Andrew Harper attended reports of a burglary and later tragically died as a result of multiple fatal injuries caused when he was dragged along by a vehicle on the A4 Bath Road in Berkshire.
