People sometimes ask how I learn many new things. There isn’t one answer, but a big part is doing things the hard way:
- Writing notes (even rewriting a design doc/documentation that exists to internalize it)
- Writing out code blocks rather than copy/paste or autocomplete

Async/await is *too* convenient sometimes.
One of the most common mistakes I've seen is missing try/catch blocks for handling errors.
Assume every awaited statement can reject ⚠️
Try to catch this in code reviews.
