the final humiliation for michael chandler was that he couldn't even get any quality fouls off. it's ok to be losing speed, cardio, initiative etc, but when you're just being shown up in your own artform like this it's time to hang them up.
Lmao straight to the back of the head He’s the goat

the whole DC Trump deleted post thing was pretty funny. like, look man, Cormier has many admirable qualities but does anyone really think that "fearless truth teller who would publicly blow up his employer's most important political relationship" really describes him.

really makes you think about the one man that was so tough, so dangerous on the feet that Justin was too scared to strike with him in open space until he'd exhausted him with clinch work.

Unfortunately Rick Little has been proved correct. Body shots... are fake.
If Ilia can rip the body like he did in the last round and still come out the more tired of the two fighters, we may never see another MMA fighter go to the body again

Great stuff! After listening to The Lads, I think the pick I'm most unsure on is Nickal - even tho he's improved, can't shake suspicion that he doesnt "get" MMA at an instinctive level: well-coached game which is bolted together of rote stuff without much feel for transition etc
Any else remember the old Sherdog roundtables with Jack Encarnacao? I called up 4 friends and we spent 3 hours breaking down every fight on the white house card.

Funny story. When M says “now I know what C stands for…careless”. When I saw this in theatres, opening day, I said (what I thought was under my breath) “Cunt”. I guess it was loud enough for people to hear and the whole theatre burst out laughing when it wasnt Cunt 😂😂 #Spectre

In which myself and @BoxingBusch simultaneously realize that Gane may pose some major stylistic problems for Thicc Poatan, but I refuse to pick him anyway due to my carefully considered technical analysis that he is a fraud. youtu.be/HxqDK29P8h4?si=Sk0M… via @YouTube

the best bit of this is the casting of a huge imposing adonis as a thief and master of disguise. "merde! he has disappeared into the crowd! he could be anyone, even that 6'4 beggar with perfect posture"
He's back. Lupin Part 4 premieres OCTOBER 23.

Rani Yah-Y’all
Replying to @EvilGregJackson
@EvilGregJackson @TheZaneSimon was thinking about Bryce Mitchell, as one does, and I realized- he's basically Rani Yahya from Arkansas? Pathologically aggressive BJJ takedown guy, etc. So: Rani Yahyarkansas? Rani Yahy'all-yah? Is this anything? Discuss amongst yourselves

don't think he's wrong, but him and Gane are such comically different fighters that the advice is essentially pointless. it'd be like, idk, John Lineker telling Machida to pressure and beat his opponent up until he folds. Sure!
Artem Vakhitov, the last man to beat Alex Pereira in kickboxing, gave Ciryl Gane a breakdown on how to beat Poatan 👀 "Everyone's scared, you don't need to be scared... [Alex has] minimal technique, but very effective strikes. His weakness is his openness. He has very strong attack, but his defense suffers. Many opponents lose mentally in the fight, because they enter already afraid of him. You need to go forward and be aggressive, then [Alex] starts to get lost. The fight will end early. Ciryl will finish the job." (via @ufc)

Everyone is scouting for massive guys and trying to teach them to fight. The secret is to find someone who can already fight, and has an eating disorder
This is not new territory. We have seen MW’s go up to HW and have success in the UFC. #UFCFreedomFights250
