A big thank you to Arboricultural Association for an incredibly thought-provoking talk this week 🌳 Learning about carbon capture and the fascinating history of the UK’s Giant Sequoias was inspiring The session, contained a section on tree health, including honey fungus which effects these iconic trees, really reinforcing why continued learning and science-led action is so crucial. I hadn't realised there were 500,000 of the main three Redwood species in the UK. On Good Friday we had a fantastic time in Lincolnshire. Sun was out, 100 trees in the ground. Wonderful achievement and enjoyed by all. Excellent hosts, lovely food. Back for hedgerows soon.
