Every child in foster care deserves a shot at the same future as every other American kid.
Yesterday, Treasury Secretary @SecScottBessent and @FLOTUS Melania Trump announced that foster youth will now have access to Trump Accounts — dedicated savings vehicles designed to build long-term financial security. States can open accounts on behalf of children in their care, and federal survivor benefits can be directed into those accounts for education, housing, and career development.
This is practical, forward-looking policy that builds up foster youth. Proud to see the Trump Administration investing in the next generation.
