The Trump administration has announced they'll need to spend an estimated $1 billion to combat the New World Screwworm.

"Stare at a wall" is so apt bc there is literally nothing for kids to do here anymore. Parks are for young children, so teens get chased out, everything is super expensive so you can't go on a day out, and there's precious little nature left to explore. Thats all you can do.

It's funny how we use to tell people with anxiety that "people in public aren't making fun of you, they don't even notice you so don't be scared" and then the internet just proved to us that people will make fun of you when you're in public for virtually no reason at all.
holy no return offer. no belt, pants too long, and nikes lol #nobid #geed

Bro walked her home safely, got a kiss, made sure she got in okay, then left like a gentleman… and y’all laughing? The real ones understand: Respect > desperation. This man just earned date #2 while the sideline squad stays single forever. Who else sees the W here?

Nigga, just watch the news.
Is there any show where the villain actually won? I’m tired of villains losing to the plot.

Maybe because the Boys finale is getting review bombed by people who thought Homelander was the tuffest guy ever and people who decided like 5 episodes ago that this finale would be bad

How dare the devs of Subnautica 2 adhere to the core philosophy set in the first installment!!!
May 18
Subnautica 2 is a pacifist ideology woven into a game. Players have noticed you cannot defend yourself against attacking fish. Not even in self defense. Only passive means are available. This was by design. You can't kill anything because the devs feel it would support gun violence and aspects of colonialism: "Subnautica is one vote towards a world with less guns. A reminder that there is another way forward." "We want people to feel like they're learning to adapt to the world, rather than being a conqueror or dominator." "We aren't a killing game. Go play Sons of the Forest or something if you want to kill." The anti-violence stance got stronger from Subnautica 1 -> 2, which now has a complete "no kill" policy even when the fish can still kill *you*.

"Why do they treat their most loyal fans like this?" The most loyal fans were told about this a whole year before the early access released. The most loyal fans know that they never intended for leviathans to be killed. Y'all are fuckin tourists, I swear
DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT JUST HAPPENED TO SUBNAUTICA 2.. > be Subnautica 2 developers > player politely asks why you can’t kill most creatures > level designer snaps back: "This is not a killing game, go play Sons of the Forest if you want violence" > another dev adds that big creatures will stay safe because "the game should feel right" The first Subnautica let you stab leviathans with a knife. Now they want you to peacefully coexist with 50-meter monsters like it’s a underwater yoga class. Why do developers treat their most loyal fans like this? Why can’t they just answer normally without being condescending and aggressive? Loyal players are the ones who supported you for years. If you keep talking down to them, they’ll simply stop playing. And in the end, you - the developers - will be the ones who lose the most. Peak "go touch grass" energy in 2026. You think this approach will help the game long-term or are we watching it slowly die?

Generational aura loss for Homelander. What a pathetic way to go.
