Thank you to all the @wildeastdevon rangers & volunteers at today's Bluebell Day in Holyford Woods. A new spot for me, and now at the top of my list for favourite local woods. We will be back soon to see the changes through the seasons. Today will be hard to beat though!

I first backed @Elite_Bistros in 2021 & received a ridiculously delicious At Home box all the way down here in Devon. This time I'm looking forward to pies, sides & desserts winging their way here. You could too, if you can spare some £s. Tasty & helping out hospitality. Perfect.
Oh and if we haven't, and if we are on a tandem, do both of us have to register or is it just the one of us? Apologies, I couldn't quite make it out from the tandem FAQ.
We have been working with Harper Collins and the author of the Rainbow Grey series of books, Laura Ellen Anderson on a brand-new set of education resources based around the Weatherlands.
ALT Weather activity pack, inspired by Rainbow Grey.
Wobbling weathervanes! The marvellous @MetOffice have created a pack of FREE #RainbowGrey inspired activities for teachers to explore the magic of weather in the classroom. Get yours here: ow.ly/GH5i50QbrV0
It was a lot of fun hosting Laura at the Met Office. Plus I've absolutely loved reading the #RainbowGrey books, despite being a tad older than their usual readership! Keep an eye out for the release of our new fab resources inspired by the world of Weatherlands next week.
@BritishSpiders we seem to have a resident in one of our sarracenias (a doubly carnivorous plant now!) Is this a false widow? It's a rather striking creature, though does seem to have covered the plant in web!
A couple of weeks ago we had to scrape back a patch of vegetation next to our pond back to bare soil. I now don't want to replant it as the sparrows are bringing me so much joy with their almost constant dust baths.
If you want an engaging & thought provoking read & support indie shops, can I recommend @LucyGoBag's book from @foxlanebooks? It isn't listed on site, but you can buy it via email. Was with me in a couple of days, read in a day & stayed with me since. Writing & service both super
We need to have a better day than yesterday - sold just 4 books from the online store in 24 hours, which is one of our worst days ever. Need to sell about 25 a day just to break even - yikes! So Jakob and I are poised for a busy day, today🤞We can do this!

On this beautiful spring day, a short message to (some of) the middle-aged men of Devon and beyond - yes I am ******* pedalling. And you aren't as original as you might think with your hollered 'joke', in fact we hear it nearly every time we're out...
I love our Circe tandem. Before 1st lockdown I'd hardly cycled on road, but now don't really think twice about a 60km jaunt on a glorious day like today. I also love the smile many have when they see it. It's a great conversation starter. But I am so fed up with being yelled at.
Our first @highgrangedevon takeaway. Tonkotsu ramen, fried chicken and miso BBQ mushrooms. Accompanied by a Dassai 45 from @londonsake. Blooming wonderful way to end a week. If you're local & haven't tried Luke's cooking, give it a go, it's a step or three above a usual takeaway.

Was great to see so many colleagues as well as a few new, and very young, faces getting involved in the @ProspectMetO industrial action today, part of the wider civil service #ProspectStrike. Lots of beeped / binged support from Exeter drivers & cyclists too - thank you!
