If that happens I know @IDA_UKDefence will hold not just the AF commissioner but the ministers who let it happen, to account. The IDA will remain the conscience of the AF Commissioner doesn’t properly fulfil that role and becomes a MoD rubber stamping puppet

If the new AF commissioner is a retired Senior Officer then @JohnHealey_MP @AlistairCarns you have got this wrong and it is merely a tick box exercise - it must be someone independent of thought and influence else it will have no effect !!
